Problems saving a session

Hello Trainzers --

Working on a session, however, I am not the original creator of the route;

So, what I want is to save the session, but keep the route by the original creator! I do not want to upload his route under my kuids! I just want to save the session!

Any advice is welcome - Thanks!

Ish

Hi Ish - Have a look at the session config file and check that the Map kuid is pointing to the original route. If it is then you can upload the session without the route. The session name should include the route name so that users can see which route it applies to.

Example: Route name: Abc xyz. Session name: Abc xyz session xxx, where xxx is any number or descriptive name.

If the map kuid points to your own route then edit the map kuid to point to the original route. Then run the session from the original route to check that it still works properly.

Make a backup cdp of your session before editing anything.

As long as you don't change anything on the route and only work in the session layer it should only save the session and not the route.

Hello there, sir ... Yes, that's what I thought!

I'll keep at it -- I'll take a glance at the manual, and see what went wrong!!!

Thanks
