Problem With TS2009 Patches Downloading

Hello Trainz Community,

I have recently tried to download the first and second patches for TS2009 and I've waited to 3 hours for them to download. Once they downloaded it says patching could not start you must find the files. I did that and tried to start it but still no luck. Any ideas guys? I also have an HP with norton antivirus software on it. Thanks in advance.

first disable ur antivirus
then check what is ur current trainz built version(trs 2009 has default 37625 built no)
then download the appropriate sp2
disconnect ur internet
apply patch
if it says files could not find then in adress bar of patcher select ur launcher from game folder
then again apply patch
u must remember that you have installed winxp sp3 .net framework and must have atleast 4.6 GB of free hard disk space on both your c drive and on drive where you installed your game
note:sp2 require large amount of time for patching where as sp1 and sp3 requires less amount of time

Use the patch from new install build 37625 to 40040 and then 40040 to 41844. Had problems going through 1, 2 and 3 but the above worked.
