Problem with Night Driving

To observe how my layout looks when driving at night, I have set the time to mid-night in Surveyor, and saved. When using Quick Drive, the run is still made in daylight. The same happens when using the Driver procedure.

I notice in the Razorback layout, it is posible to drive "in the dark".

Could a member advise please ? So far, I have been unable to find a reference elsewhere.

In the session setup for the route in question, you can change the 'time of day' settings in there. I think, it 'defaults' to 10:00

Thanks for the advice which has provided the answer to the problem.

The night running has shown that station lighting needs altering and locomotives without headlamps require replacement.
