problem with .im files

I have a lot of broken kuid with an error that relates tr .im files For example: <kuid:38408:28113> : VE164: Invalid position data in .im file: cs_industrial_warehouse_04.im
What does it mean 'Invalid position data' and how do I fix it? I have no idea and any changes I have tried have not worked. Anyone out there understand what it means and can help me?

I wanted to have a look at it for you, but I can't find it installed in either T:ANE or TRS19 or on the Download Station.

I don't know what "invalid position data" means. It could be referring to the position of the origin point of the mesh, or maybe to the position(s) of some vertices within the mesh, but I am just guessing.

Its <kuid:38408:28113> CS Industrial Warehouse 04 and its a kuid in Donner Pass. I have been trying t get Donnewr Pass going in Trs 22 and have a lot in Donner Pass like this.
If you dont have it I have similiar errors for other routes e.g <kuid2:524343:6639:1> car 28 UK - Van_ford_e250s which has the error <kuid2:524343:6639:1> : VE34: Alias mesh 'nightview.im' not found in latest version (<kuid2:68213:29073:3>) of dependency <kuid2:68213:29073:2>.

There are three Donner Pass routes on the DLS but that asset would still be missing. My guess of the problem is the same as Deane's and the cause is likely a corrupt file or maybe a variation of the IM format that Trainz doesn't use. I'd recommend using the option to show missing assets and replace with another industry. Sounds easy but probably not. The author of that asset is "threeheadedmonkey".

The second asset is using one of Deane's road vehicles as a mesh library. He may want to comment on that. I'd probably just use Deane's original which would be much easier IMHO.

I will explain that one, but unfortunately, I don't have time to do it right now.

In the meantime, you can search my kuids on the DLS for the traffic version of that vehicle <kuid:68213:29211> Van Ford E250 01.

In CM it will be listed as a "Track Object" (not a "Vehicle" or "Scenery") in the Type column.

Look in the Routes menu, or in the route itself, click on the icon (3 horizontal bars) at the top left hand corner and then the Settings option. In the General Setting tab and at the bottom of the list is an option to show missing assets in the route. These show as a orange/red wire like object. Last time I looked they didn't identify what asset was missing.

unfortunately, a lot of the custom content for the Donner Pass has been made a long time ago and does not meet current Trainz standards.

Jango is working on an update, but as far as I know many assets cannot be repaired and will have to be replaced by new ones made from scratch.

Thanks Denoris. I'll have a look at that thread. The one that pcas directed me to download, fixed the error with the new asset but I presumed that was only because he recognised your kuid. You will have seen Pendlino's post above but I have quite a number with the same error that are not in DonnerPass so I dont supposed the fixes will be as easy as that last one. If I may, I will come back to youafter I have read that post you refered me to if I need more help to understand it all

The Treez items are not repairable for a number of reasons. Mostly because of the Treez version number and perhaps licencing issues. There are other and later Treez based trees that do work so I suggest you use them.

The two cars appear to be the same problem as before. They are on the CRG repair list.

I have these two trees:

They were faulty McGuirel trees, and I cloned rmm trees in their place. So, the trees I have as those KUIDs are actually rmm trees. You may have to do similar substitutions.
