Problem with downloading

Hello,
I have a problem with downloading content larger than approx. 7MB. The download bar in CM doesn't finish those large objects. It always stops really close to the end. So I can't use those objects. I use Trainz 12 in Windows 7 64-bit if this info matters. I look forward to helpful replies!

Ensure that your firewall allows the Trainz executables to have full access to the internet.

Try the same with your Internet connection tethered to your phone (or someone with tethering capability).

No worries!

Go to your control panel and select Network and Sharing Center.

On the lower left side is Windows Firewall.

Open that up and choose "Allow an app of feature through Windows Firewall.

In there you click the browse and add buttons and put in the following applications:

Top level of TS12 install folder: trainz.exe

in the bin folder:

launcher.exe
trainz.exe
TADDaemon.exe
ContentManager.exe

Okay I did what you said. There are no questions so far. Now I am checking if that works.

:wave:tobisuper: Welcome to the Forum & Trainz world..I also sometimes have the same problem..I discovered the Black pages from the forum..It is called FTP download..Go to the Forum in the Heading "Download Station"..Click on it..If your properly registered it should say Welcome..Then click on "Download Helper" on your Asset..I Hope This Works for you, it takes a little bit Longer

There is one other possibility here. Do you require a proxy server when accessing the Internet? (You will normally know if this is the case or not, as it normally involves extra software or settings)

@ BobCass: Thank you! I'm glad that I'm not the only one with this problem. Could you solve it on your computer? What is called FTP?
@ shaneturner12: I don't really know right now. What extra software or settings are then involved? Or can I recognize another way if I require a proxy server or not?

Go to Forums Click on Heading bar(top of Forum) "Download Station"..That is the Black pages..click on the Catagory you want..When you find what you want..Click on "Download Helper"
