Portals in the Dispatch Manager

Anybody know why portals are listed in the dispatch manager? Can we use them to fill off map resources or something? That would be cool. I would like to do that also if anyone knows how let me know.

Portals are "industries" in the sense of a destination but they can't be used for refilling commodities as you would like.

You can, however, set up a train to return and by using one of the many Instant Load driver commands fill up the freight cars and then set the driver on its way.

How to automatically set a driver to a TLR driver is something I'm not familiar with.
