Portal Instruction Problem?

A train/consist exits a portal, goes to a siding and disconnects the consist, It is then supposed to return to the portal but never moves. Last night at 7pm it worked. Today at 5am it simply stops at the point where the train is supposed to return to the portal. Restarted the PC but to no avail.

FOUND - the &&^%^ portal command was the issue. It was causing things associated to it to disappear.
I now need to develop a way for trains to appear at scheduled time from "another railroad".

On my system Portals simply do not work. Nor do they work on TS2022, but only on my PC? . With some coding the function can be constructed in a different manner. Yesterday was wasted.....

Don't use the same portal for producing trains and accepting trains. A train entering could be refused if the portal has started creating a consist.

I have coded my version of the portal function using common Trainz instructions.
An "other railroad" deposits cars on a siding (used to be a portal operation). They order is filled (coal). Returned to the siding and picked up by the other rail line and the train disappears. Not as neat as portals but that function is a constant issue for a variety of reasons.

Thanks for the tip IF portals are ever repaired.
