Hello,
Until recently I used the Dutch version of Trainz 12 (build 51054) on my Dell inspiron660 desktop computer without many performance problems. Sometimes the picture was bumping a bit, but not dramatically. I did not have a separate graphical card.
Since it was not possible to use SP1 in the Dutch version I switched to the English version build 61388. From then on I have severe performance problems. After a short time the scenery becomes poor or complete absent, tracks are not visible, trains seem to fly in the air and even become invisible themselves. And then, suddenly, some scenery appears again.
Of course I minimized drawing distance and so on, but that doesn’t help
My question: does anybody recognize this symptoms after introducing SP1 or any other new versions? And more important:what is the solution?
Since processor and memory usage appear to be moderate I decided to purchase a separategraphical card, Geforce GT 720 which was recommended to me. Up to now I did nots ucceed to get a better performance with that. .....
Like to hear from you.
Kind regards,
Mart de Ras
