Payware/Freeware

Hi,
I've been looking for some animated BR wagons/vans but not a great deal around. (in fact 2):'(

The only ones i found were Bloodnok's VAA van's which have animated doors and show loads.

Are there any more around,payware or freeware ?

Paul Hobbs did some in N3v's SandC add on, if you dig on the DLS under my name you'll find some TC3 wagons etc that have animated brakes. I did a couple of coal wagons with animated doors but I was into normal mapping at the time and you couldn't normal map animated parts in Blender at that time.

But im looking for something like this...ive done 7 reskins of bloodnok's vans

I take it you're after more modern stuff. I'm not certain who is creating the more modern UK items. With the passing of the UK forum its more difficult to keep track. Also the demands for more detail mean new stuff takes much longer to create.

Possibly time to try your hand with Blender? The animations aren't difficult to do it just takes time and textures are the hard part.

The Bloodnok's VAA van's are really good aswell,in the way the doors work.
Just a pity he has'nt made any more or updated them...well maybe someone might come along and take them on.

I'll try as you surggest using blender,as ive been using Gimp.
and also look for some tutorials in the true art of reskinning.

I prefer paintshop pro for reskinning versions later than photo XI have a colour changer which I find useful. It's not that expensive on ebay.
