I've read the threads about monitor resolutions but I just want to be certain before I order. I use 06 and the monitor I will be ordering has a 1680 x 1050 maximum resolution. Will my game (06) be stretched or will it be ok? Thanks in advance.

But just remember the more pixels you have the harder Trainz has to work. So I'd probably go with 1440 by 900.
1680 x 1050 = 1,764,000 pixels.
1440 by 900 = 1,296,000 pixels.
1024 by 768 = 786,432 pixels.
Basically performance is directly proportional to the number of pixels on the cpu and times the frequency on the video card. So 1440 by 900 at 60 (LCD) 77,760,000 is 31% greater load than a conventional 1024 by 768 by 75 58,982,400 on the video card.
As you get higher resolutions so you lose frames per second.
