Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
Usually this means that something in the installation folder has been changed (either manually by you or possibly by a 3rd party program such as your anti-virus software). The patcher therefore doesn't recognize the install.
If a retry produces the same result, and you can't identify what's changed, then the only solution is to reinstall (by redownloading from MyTrainz if you don't have a backup of the orginal download).
Do you mean redownloading and reinstalling Trainz 2019?
You shouldn't have to.
Reinstalling the program is separate from redownloading content.
Before you do anything, take note of where your content is located. If you have it in a folder of of your choice, it's easier like D:/TRS2019_DATA or something.
Reinstall and take the defaults let it do its thing.
When done installing:
Go into the Install tab and redirect the install path to your own data folder by clicking on the .. in the lower right corner of the path-space.
Browse for the folder, and click the open button. (I think because I'm not at my Trainzing computer) and close the window.
You'll get a quick database dialog of rebuilding translations, or something like that, and you'll have to restart. After that you should be all set. Just check your settings to ensure everything is all set.
I simply did control+alt+delete, selected my antivirus program, and selected 'end task'. After shutting down the program I tried patching TRS2019 again. And this time it worked! So if you are having the same problem, simply try this before going any further.
There's nothing about a patch in MyTrainz. Plus I'm having a hard time understanding your post. I thought it was because I was just tired last night, but this morning I still don't understand it. I'm confused as to what you mean about this where my content is located stuff. However, I've got multiple files for all the stuff I've downloaded for Trainz over the years.
Which AV program? In case it's specific to one in particular.
