Here are 3 versions that are on the DLS:
360 Degree Large Protractor,<kuid:45676:23069>
360 Degree small Protractor,<kuid:45676:23071>
protractor,<kuid:55126:39000>
It IS there .Make sure you have all the boxes from Trainz to Trainz Classics selected, and "KUID" rather than "Title" Usually if I want to make a large 90 degree angle I use "Airport Basic2 and align the ruler with the 2 edges of the runway.
You should try it more often, amazing what you can find there.
For example, if you are just looking to find a way to mark a specific angle rather than seeing the whole 360 at once, try
guide angle
KUID2: 70337:23019:1
You can set it for any angle and it's visible for at least 10km.
Yes, I found them. I didn't have the "Trainz" box clicked on the bottom.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks Martin, that looks like another very useful tool. I can take
another on screen protractor for Google earth and transfer the angle
over to surveyor. Up till now I've been using a regular protractor and holding to the screen.
Hey, thanks for the hint. Went and tried that on-screen ruler. Simple to use and gives good results.
Only down-side I have is a very noticeable lag (1 - 2 sec) between the time I move the mouse to when the ruler notices and responds. Also affects the under lying screen which in my case is Google Earth. The LCD at 1280x1024 is being driven by an ATI Radeon 9550. I know it's not the greatest but the more powerful NVidia 8800 is driving the other screen that has Trainz installed. Radeon driver is 8.421.0.0
Over any other program, the performance is fine. Anyone with similar performance issues?
