On a one-way-traffic-road, it becomes two-way traffic road! Why?

Since 2001
Afternoon all --

It's set up in the config file as one-way-traffic --- this is simple stuff!

Just curious why it happens, because it becomes a pain to delete the splines and restart again!

Thanks in advance
Ish

Hi Ish,

I have had this happen myself.

Did you edit another Kuid which got upgraded? If that happened the asset got overwritten which can cause this.

Did you connect the one-way road to a two-way road? This will make the one-way into a two way affair.

John

Hi ISH

One way roads will change to Two way if it is in anyway connected to another Two way road/Street (even if the connection is by Invisible Road).

One Way roads are notorious for spawning car/cars heading the wrong direction, a little wrinkle I use is to "bleed" that traffic off if by adding a spline a short way from the start off the road and leading a length off invisible road from it into the bush or behind a building ending it out of sight.

NormP.

BTW, If you are using 'TWO' one-way roads side by side (as a Hwy) I have also connected them together (just like a railway crossover) at a convenient place with
Invisible road so that the wrong lane traffic will cross from each Road, note the crossing must be in the same direction as the wrong traffic.

Good Morning John --

No, sir, however, I did added cars to the route, and added the carrate tag -- Maybe that mess things up? Not sure, myself, so will experiment and let you know!

Side note -- the one-way-traffic are connected to Boat's ATLS -- But things are fine at that end!

Thanks, sir for the tip! :p -- Must try it!!!

Guyz -- screenshot below is an Avenue that stretches a distance, and traffic is connected to Boat's ATLS -- the traffic on the left side of the picture became an issue! ---
