OLD CONTENT HELP REQ

Hi all,

I don't know whether anyone can assist me. I transferred some old content from trs2009 to TS12. Having worked on them for a while with PEV, updating and checking for any missing dependencies etc:
Although I am down to one error, which is this build is now longer supported. Which hasn't shown to be a problem before.
In Surveyor it remains red and won't show up. Anyone know if there is a solution that I am missing?
 
Are you sure that's showing as an error? It shouldn't be. If it is, you will need to change the trainz-build value to 2.9, then fix the errors that result from that.

Sorry it shows that in explorer but in errors it shows that there is no shadow mesh. I have other items with this error that work quite well.
 
That's quite simple to fix. Either use PEV's Quickshadows tool and update the config to point to the created shadow mesh, or completely remove the shadow container from the config.

Cannot find any reference to shadow in either the config file or in explorer, It appears to be asking for something that does not exist.

Downloaded PEV and on each attempt at building shadow it shows as failed.

I thank you for your thoughts, I have tried just about everything, trouble is I have some 72 tram related stock items, some of which I would like to put into my TS12 from trs2009 where they work quite happily. But as you can see below, the item shows only one warning and should show up, but remains red in surveyor and wont show. I used the PEV tool to generate a shadow but that failed and should show up without a shadow. On checking some of the others, one of the errors shows that the build is not supported even though it's 2.9
There has to be something else that's causing the problem that is not showing up in cmp. As on checking files with warnings of which there are some 7000 nearly all show in surveyor and work. And yes I have done an extended repair which did nothing to help.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

No. I have checked all that, even changing the bogie which showed an error then change it back after no change. Even though the same error on the bogie shows in trs2009 but works. Some of the trams I am trying to install into TS12 can be seen in my 'Belguim' thread, Which are trs2009 screenshots.
 
How did you set the trainz-build to 2.9?

There could be other tags in the config that are confusing the issue.
 
PEV, I have not altered the build as most of them are from 2.9. Not sure what I should look for in the config file as they don't show anything obviously wrong.
 
This last item you are having trouble with, was it originally downloaded or was it built-in to whichever version you transferred it from? Just a thought, sometimes this makes difference.
 
Downloaded into trs2009 then cmp'd and downloaded into TS12. But I did try a direct download as well to no avail.

Copy the contents of the config file and paste them here (use a courier font or put the congfig.txt. contents in a code wrapper ("Go advanced" button, then the # button).

It would also help if we knew the KUID No of one of the faulty assets and where you got it from.
