Suddenly, since last night, things that worked now don't.
CM3.7 now says I have missing dependencies, all by 'Lielestobrat'.
kuid numbers:- 101839:34, 35, 37, 38, 44, 45, 46.

Where have they disappeared too so suddenly ???
 
I had the same experience with some other content .
Where they are , i don't know .
But you kuids are on the DLS . You have to chance them in conf.f.


 
There is something wrong it seems with the DLS and the validation servers for DLC. This is causing version issues and what once worked is now showing missing dependencies. Once the validation stops, the missing items go away and things go back to normal.

I have a similar problem. Like you I have build 61388 SnC Duchess and other DLC. All my N3V DLC is now unusable after the last asset validation this afternoon. Refreshing the "Re-download DLC" comes back very quickly and says all my content is now available for use. However every piece of DLC that I have purchased is displayed in the "Buy Now" window. I have used much of the SnC content in my own routes and it is now missing. A QDR has not corrected the problem. What do I do next?

EDIT after John's reply above. It looks like there is a disconnect between the validation process and the DLS. Let us hope it gets repaired soon.

My DLC seems to be OK however I'm missing a whole load of dependencies that are apparently on the DLS. Not in the backup folder so what ate them???

Yup.. It's part of the validation thing... Tons and tons of missing dependencies of things that worked yesterday...

I now have 1,256 assets missing dependencies, just as I suspected. These also include built-in assets such as Vulcan's Barge Float Coal Consist. and many other non-built-in routes, traincars, etc. Among the routes missing assets is the JR American Intermodal.

Not recognising FCT either now in either 61388 with DLC or my copy without DLC, 49922 is fine FCT is ok as is T:ANE and 2010 and nothing odd happening.

I'm going to continue as I was working in 49922, dump 61388 or not use it and do my compatibility checking in T:ANE which is also unaffected by whatever Demon has possessed 61388.

This makes sense if SP1 is contacting the validation and authentication server and the FCT server is all the one in the same, and that particular unit suffering from some kind of network or software issue.

Just done a quick check on my installation. I now have about 250 items that have missing assets. Some missing just one item but many of them missing several. They were fine a few days ago. Anyone contacted N3V to see whats gone on?

I had put in a related ticket yesterday on the massive validation and missing dependencies. This seems to go hand in hand and is probably related to the validation of DLC which is taken "offline" from use until it is validated locally. When you have many assets using the same dependencies, you'll end up with this situation. Yesterday I had 1257-plus assets needing dependencies and I still do today.

In one particular route, American Intermodal, the asset Sussex Trestle is missing. This same asset is also found on two routes I worked on as well as the Murchison 2. Apparently because it's used in the Murchison 2, it is now considered DLC, and therefore taken offline locally until it can be validated.

We need to get N3V to change this process as it truly impacts the users.

Mine is all back to normal here, started a validation when I fired it up, cancelled that and started CM direct, validation started but I started a QDR, which took over. There is method in my madness as the validation after a QDR or EDR then uses multiple threads where as the automatic one appears to use one thread only, 11000 odd validations in 45 minutes compared to 9000 in 3 hours yesterday with the one thread............

Right now I just started up CM and have a 3000 asset validation without going into TS12 first.

There are 147 assets out-of-date, all of which are "Auran".

I still have 1457 assets missing dependencies so this means no Trainz use again today until this is resolved.

EDIT: The amount of assets missing dependencies has now grown to 1,587.

EDIT AGAIN: Back to 41K assets again. This will finish at sometime tomorrow even with multiple TrainzUtil threads running.

And this is another reason why I bought TC3. No DRM and bad server needed to run TC3 unlike TRZ2012.

It's ONLY TS12 SP1 HF4 that has a problem, up to build 49922 is fine with hardly any problems and no DRM servers. TC3 is far too old and looks it now.
T:ANE does not have any problems with the DRM servers, it's a completely new program so doesn't have things like TadDaemon cludging things up.
