OK, A really dumb question...

Hi folks,

I just wanted to play with some roads and then advance to traffic lights using the ATLS system. So basic roads and traffic generators. I have tried all road types and both traffic generators. I have toggled the traffic on and off and tested a layout using the quick drive. For the life of me, I cannot see any cars/trucks/vans etc on any roads.

I have also looked carefully around the tutorials and sessions and still have yet to see any road traffic


So here is the really dumb question. How on earth do I get cars to appear on the roads that move ???????

Stationary cars in car parks etc are visible. Oh btw this is 2010 Engineers Edition.

If your map is set to the "Default" region, then no cars will appear, as the "Default" region does not have traffic. You must set the map to an appropriate region for traffic to appear.

Yes that worked. I would have thought that a default setting would have enabled something as basic as cars duh!
