I always have FUN!
The Project was comming along nicely the Docks working like a Treat! thanks to Pencil's scripting and our collective thinking (we are not Borg)
Might Ships were being constructed to carry the ever amounting Goods and Passangers being delivered by the Great Railways of Trainz!..........
When DISASTER STRUCK!! a direct attack !!!! NEMO fearing that the Steam & Sail Techonology might fall into the wrong hands (MSTS) launched a dareing raid up river He Failed but did manage to sink and disable 13 Ships of the Line and bottle up the River
This WAS Admaril Dreddman signing out ....up the creek without a paddle

The "DOCK Project" now supports 3 Trackz!.......(Big thanks to Curtis Peter and Me)......1 ship 1 rail 1 wagon/or truck?......I have 2 ships almost ready that will interact with the Dock and 3 QR wagons I am useing Curtis's Western products and Elevenors western People Might create some Victorian Passangers said might? A call goes out for interested layout creators with interests in the 1800's .

Well a oop's Pencil sent me the latest update for the Dock With the Wagon track in it ...So Did Peter at the same Time No me n my big mouth saying lets have a wagon track as well WELL I hadnt got around to converting one of "ELVENORS" Freightwagons _UNTILL TODAY!!_
2 Wagons one is the Std Freightwagon useing his textures and loading 3 old west general goods and one old west baggage the second wagon is a covered Pioneer wagon loads the same I had to redo the horses to make it all match up "THEN I LOST IT!"..........
The Fog of war raised it's ungly head again many ships and men were needed to stop any Threat of Invasion...........
I converted "Elvenors" Horse and Rider to Cavalry!!!
Not to mention his Wagons into Gun Carriages
With the help of "Steam and Sail" The World of the 1860's is comming togeather With the strife of Wartorn Europe left behind us we arrived in the Americas .....To seek our Fortune in the WEST!...
Now that We have reached Dry Land we will need someone to Protect our Trainz and Wagontrainz accross the Badlands of Trainz..

I think all this stuff is awesome,
I'm sure i would able to use it in the future.
Trying to finish my QR layout first,
would make for a great layout, there are so many application's available.
I guess if it is released people can surely still build something with their imagination.
I know i could use all your QR stuff in a lot of layouts.
Especially the QR 2000 railmotor

Hi,
I like this thread for it shows just how versatile Trainz is, and what one can do with a little bit (or much) imaginations and skills in the 3D modeling business.
The fact that I also have a soft spot for old time stuff, including some of the ships shown is just a added bonus.
I do realize that comments work in the creative department (been there), and is guilty as charged in not doing my part in the process.
Wish I could plead innocent and say I was to weak to type after looking & drooling over the screen shots and work done - but the truth is I just found pleasure in watching and not wanting to disrupt the screens with my rambling words.
Love the old type of contents, so please, keep it going as you might help bring in the creative juices from other people too by doing this type of contents.
I know at least I will seek it and play with it down the line - fits some of the themes for my mining stuff that I day dream with!

Just to let you know that I'm longing for you to release some of the great models that you've produced. Like Linda, I love the old time themes, but unlike you both I'm not clever enought to make content myself & i'm also not very good at saying thank you etc.
This may be a Train sim programme, but the great thing about it is that it can be whatever you want to make it.
I'm a frustrated model maker without the time & energy to sit down & glue pieces together; so this programme suits me down to the ground & I don't just want trains. It's great to run all forms of transport & model your own world. There must be a lot of others like me.
Keep at it. The less talented among us depend on you guys to make our worlds more fun.

Soon Friends the world of the past will burst onto the DLS!!!!
We are real close now on the final version of the script then we (Pencil & Me) shall unleash our Docks same script different Gmax so there will be a few versions..........I have now got "Elvenors" Stagecoach up and running carying 4 passangers and 2 units of baggage on the roof with animated doors
I found a mesh of a 40's Ford ute/truck I will see how many polys it is and convert it to carry freight baggage for the later era's of steam and sail
There will be a lot comming at once from both of us once Steam and sail hits the DLS... .........
