Odd Behavior when Holding Shift Key Down

I regularly hold the shift key down while using the arrow keys to get more precise movements in Driver for screenshots. I've noticed recently when holding the shift key down time seems to speed up. The clock moves really fast, clouds fly by at hurricane speeds, and any AI trains move fast enough to derail. I never seen this before and I don't know of any changes I've made.

Anyone experience this before or know how to make it stop?

Check your TS2010 folder, open trainzoptions.txt and see if it has the line;

-debug

That parameter speeds up game time when you hold down the SHIFT key.

Thanks snipe. That's it. Shane had me add 3 lines to my trainzoptions file to help diagnose my random crashing issue. I should have thought of that...

The -debug line assists in debugging Trainz crashes, but it can have strange effects as you have seen.

It's best to remove the lines mentioned after you have reproduced the crash.

In the meantime, avoid using the Shift key.
