You can't alter anything in the mesh, that can only be done by the original creator, unless he distributes the mesh to someone else.

Nice shots in this thread mrrangi.

Cheers,
Bill.

Greetings

Hello,

Relatively new to the game but thought time to share some pics from my first attempts!

I haven't based this layout on anywhere in particular (as I hadn't planned it when I began) but hoping to get a New Zealand feel to it.

Ab with mixed coal train

JA 1243 on excursion

Vulcan at Little River

Overlander at Mangaroa (re-skin of the Tranz Alpine paintshed cars on the DLS)

Quality shots itsmrb, welcome to the forum.

A 4 car red EE set races along Wellington Harbour from Melling, a sight rapidly becoming as rare as hen's teeth

I had to zoom in because the coronas are so good in the smart signals!

Viewed from the embankment of the Johnsonville Line, we are seen approaching the terminus

Thanks Ryan_McC, early days but getting there!

A couple of other imaes I liked so far...

DJ 3303 on the turning wye (painted in the yellow Ohai Railway Board colours, or as best as I could make them out to be from a faded picture).

A couple of red DJ's on an passenger special

EW 1806 on an afternoon metro run

Night all. As the train I was driving was going as far as Paraparaumu. I thought I would take two of the three car EE's for a run.

Hi I'm Mrrangi welcome to the forum. I would just like to say well done on your Ohai Railway Board re-skin project. Where I work we have a DSA loco in the Ohai Railway Board color's and I think your DJ is very accurate to number 2 which it is known as at work cheers Mrrangi:wave:

Hi all

mrrangi201112140000.jpg

I've always wanted to do this shot but didn't have the right trains or content for it.
mrrangi201112160000.jpg

can someone please tell me why the bogeys sometimes come out like this? cheers Mrrangi:confused:

I like how you've done the original (ugly) catenary at Paraparaumu.

With the SE car, did you try to change the bogey?
Hi Ryan about the SE car, I had to change the bogeys because it didn't have any when I downloaded it. Mind you its for TRS2006 or 2004 so maybe that's why some of the content was missing. All i need to know is what the name of the bogey's were so i can put them on. Thanks for noticing the what i call the happy poles. I remember these catenary's from when i was a young kid. I don't know why they changed them? But they have been changed about three times since I've lived on the coast and one of the times was when they electrifide to Waikanae.

The bogey I've got for the standard cars is <kuid2:116035:2050:1>.
The bogey for the 'generator' car is <kuid2:2512:50254:1>. They are two different gauges, but I haven't got around to standardising them both one way or the other.
