Nice shots as always Mrrangi.

A mid morning Ganz cautiously slows through the rain at Western Hutt

On the return journey, careful judgement is required by the driver for braking at Western Hutt as the Ganz are a bit light on their feet

Back at Wellington, and as we arrive a Matangi prepares to run a trip to Waikanae

Been a while since the last round of shots, so here are some for you.

As the sun rises, a morning peak express service gets going after negotiating the points at the Waikanae River

Paraparaumu, and plenty of Kapiti residents jostle for seats so they can go back to sleep for the best part of an hour longer.

By the time the capital is reached, everybody is refreshed, ready for their day at work, or perhaps study at Victoria University. Either way, it's going to be a good day.

AK Carriages

Hey all, just wondering if anyone was looking into making the new AK Carriages which now operate on the Coastal Pacific. They are also due to start on the Overlander this month. I would really like to make these myself, I've done a bit of 3D CAD modeling in the past, but to be honest I haven't even had a look at how I would go about creating content for Trainz. Is it actually possible to do so on OSX?

However, if anyone is looking at creating these brilliant new carriages, I have quite a few excellent photos of them which may help, just get in touch with me :)

Thanks guys, all this content is great.

Hello Ryan.

" Thanks Trevor. Some retro runs coming up, I think..."

I had a feeling you would be quick off the mark with these - you are most welcome. May I suggest you try changing the FOV setting in your Trainz options file from (default) 60, down to 40. This gives a more realistic look and "feel" to these cabs.

cvkiwi, these DA's are on Trainzone.

Cheers,
Fender ( :- , I can't get the smileys to work anymore - who broke it? )

Thanks mate I found and they are cool infact these are the best DA;s yet
A BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG Thank you Fender

Gordon your material is AMAZING! What is your intention upon completion of this :)
Are those DSGs available?
What about the Ontrack coal wagons?
It looks awesome, good luck with everything!
-James

DSG's and ontrack wagons are a private commision for cvkiwi and at the moment the map will be for myself and cvkiwi only, but this may change in the future.

Gordon

I hope you can release some of this, even as payware I would be so keen! Obviously once complete. Keep up the amazing work :)
