Old look green trainz

Hi Bart,
Where you get DMs from??!

These are one of my few models which are on the DLS, or they were, they may have been made obsolete according to Auran/NeverFail policy on anything pre 2007. I am currently updating these for TRS2010, so should soon become available on Trainzone.
Now I have a question for you. I need to find the colour scheme of the TranzMetro logo and its trailing dots on the above pic which you took?
Cheers,
Fender :)
Hi 007Bart and Fender these green trains I got for my old Paraparaumu 80's pictures. In these pictures the DM's are ment to be the ganz :)

I believe that it's is going to be the norm. As the Ganz are being refurbished and ownership changed to GWRC, they will be painted in this scheme. It also matches the SE Train, Matangi and Waiarapa train sets.
Thankyou nzms, BTW is Muri station closed yet or still under threat?
Cheers,
Fender :)

Morning all

Yesterday was the first run of the Matangi in revenure service on the NIMT. As tends to happen, the roster meant that I was to drive it :hehe: .

Departing Waikanae at 0734hrs

Flying up Paekekariki Bank. The recent works to the tunnels are the reason our units are allowed to travel through here.

Through Muri. A station that met its fate because of these new units (if you believe that).

Waiting time at Porirua with Fender's new catenary strung along the loop (thanks for the expansion pack).

On our express run from Porirua to town, we are seen passing Takapu Road. Despite our scheduled arrival time at Wellington, in amongst a heap of other trains around 0830hrs, Control gave us priority through Wellington Throat and we arrived 3.5 mins early, despite departing Porirua on time and copping a 30 second delay at Distant Junction, showing the extra power of the Matangi's over the Ganz units.

Thankfully, the EE's are still hanging onto their home turf (JVL Line) and won't give up that easily.

NZR DSG

Hi everyone I hope I am not intruding here
I have asked Arraial to build me a DSG shunter and I was wondering if you all could help me out?
You see what I want to do is find all the colour sceems of the different NZR companys that took over NZR and have a heap of DSG's repersenting those colours and I was wondering if you could help me out with those colours you can see the DSG on the MARZS sreen shots thread

I would like to thank you all in advance for your help

Hi Chris,

This one is a DSC but not much difference, only the overall length and the cab in the middle.

stay well mate I hope you are enjoying your retyerment

For a test run, a couple of DC's were put on the front of the Capital Connection a few days ago. Despite the lower top speed, the acceleration was far superior to a single DX, and we only started losing time on the long straight sections north of Waikanae.

We are seen approaching Paraparaunu

Now, a little surprise from Fender. Watch this (actually, Trainzone's) space...

And there's more from him on the horizon. Along with Caleb's works, there may be some good times ahead for NZR trainzers.

221 Fright

221 fright passing the Waikanae station. :D

And The 11.14 martangi train from Wellington stopped to let the 221 fright come out of Waikanae.

Then we get the all clear for Waikanae station.

Hi Laird, nice pic. Resize to 800 x 600 jpeg. I try to do this, but using a widescreen monitor , sometimes have to get it near enough.
Cheers, Fender :)

Resizing photos

Thanks Fender. I should have known that. By Right clicking on Ryans pix, properties I found what size they were.
