Sorry Fender

Hi Ryan,
I am fit and well, my house has sustained moderate structural damage, but is still livable, so I consider myself one of the lucky ones. It fells like a luxury to have both power and water back on! Unfortunately, my main "Trainz" computer has decided to quit - this just adds insult to injury - although I don't think its demise was earthquake related, just coincidental. I hope to be back into 3D modelling for Trainz soon.
Cheers,
Fender :)

Hi fender I diden't know you live in christchurch My mum and dad live in papanui and I have a sister inlaw in Kirwe thay got delt to pretty bad but are ok
My wife and I moved down to wakawaiti befor all of the earthquakes so we have no idea what you are all going through but just remember that we a just a few key strocks away so hang in there we are all thinking of you all in Christchurch

I for one would like to thank you for all the models you have ever done and all the fun I get running your models on my roults

Where Did You Get These From???

Nice Gordon. Arraial is a good creator from what I've seen. Those guys would have come in handy to help remove some idiots on the below train...
ryanmcc201102250001.jpg

Departing Waterloo after the troublemakers left the train.

ryanmcc201102250002.jpg

Arriving at Taita about 10 minutes late. A quick turnaround is required for the non-stop return to Wellington.

Later in the evening, the EO set is moved back into the Wellington carriage sidings as the afternoon service was replaced by a Ganz.

Back to real life, the unofficial word is that the Matangi's may enter service in the Hutt valley as early as next week. For those in the region, get your last EE Hutt trips in soon!

where did you get the new livery DMs and the metlink coaches from?>??

They're both on the DLS.

I think Fender said he was having technical troubles with his Trainz computer so there might be a bit delay.

Thanks nzms , but , is the DLS on a Trainz Site ??? i had a visit there and i need a FCT Could you send a link for them please??? (I

William, a nice gesture to share the DSG. I don't know if it's just me or not, but computer says no - the link has been disabled. I just want to hear your horn because I've made my own for the fruit salad version of this loco.

Depending on if those have the Leslie RS2Ms like most of the other equipment you guys have down there, here's a recording of one that I own that might be useable for a hornsound if any of you guys want to add another to your units.

Leslie Tampa RS2M

William knows about this recording already so this could be the one included with the DSG above, but if not feel free to use this recording as you wish to have a variety of horns..

Some cool stuff in this thread, looking good!

Gentlemen, I thank you all for your thoughts. cvkiwi, I hope your parents have not suffered at all and home is safe. Regards my "Trainz" computer, it is still not fixed, I am down but not out, for I can still use my on-line older computer to carry on with some aspects of 3D modelling. Here is a sneak preview of last weeks work - the passenger interior of the FP Matangi set.
Cheers, Fender :)
