:udrool: :mop: How On Earth did you make such a Magnificent Work of Subway Art! This is probably one of the most detailed new york city subway tunnel (I have seen) so far! I think my right eye spontaneously combusted, as well as the rest of my body! Bstyles, everything you make in Trainz is cumulative in that everything you make next is five times better than the previous. Your trainz modeling is amazing and sincerely hope you release this content you are making when your finished (including that station you made when you were bored).

He deleted the station he was working on--but let me tell you--we've been collaborating for weeks now--this content combined is going to be some of the best.

I don't know if I have posted these here yet but.....here ya go!

And a progress update as of 3/22/2011:

Right now, I'm starting a massive re-signalling project on my layout, which given its current size (all of Manhattan done south of 59 St, Downtown Brooklyn, and Western Queens), will take some time. I'll post a video soon showing the new signals in action on the 42 St Shuttle.

The only reason it seems like a monopoly is because this *IS* the nycta pics thread lol. But nice work on your chicago layout klinger! Also, to the last poster, the new nycta content is a collaborative effort between BStyles, ExpressLine3Train, and myself. I am responsible for the signs and signals. They will be released in due time, so sit tight!

Try modeling the a subway system besides the NYCTA and tell me there is not an overall monopoly. I have to use NYCTA style tunnels because its not possiable to build using anything else that is also industry Interactive. The only other expansive subway content is U-Bahn content, but even that is so far off from the style you see in Chicago, I don't have any choice but to use existing NYCTA content.

That and like I discovered when my project was conceived, unless its NYCTA related, no one really seems to care what and how much rapid transit related content you build. I've built more car series then Magicland, and I can count on my hands the number of people who use them

I meant no disrespect by my comment, so I apologize at all if I offended you. I am fond of your work, and the screenshots you post--being from the Bay Area, and currently living in Phoenix, I understand your frustration at trying to model another transit system when none of the objects are available. If you'd like, I can help you with your Chicago layout--built custom content for it and stuff. I would be more than willing. Your content does outnumber Magicland's (and mine own), and I wanted to assure you that your hard work is not overlooked.

I am modelling Phoenix and BART right now, but I've been creating custom content for both of those routes. We should have more awareness on other transit systems--and if you'd like to partner to make that happen, I'm all for it.

In the next week or so will be taken almost two months of not using the PC due to surgery; However, I'll do some research on the Chicago elevated transit system, and see what I can come up with!

I'm sure A meant no disrespect as he stated -- he's a nice and respectable person from dealing with him in the passed!

Chicago Transit System Earlier stages

Hi Guyz,

Very earlier -- textures might change, etc etc etc ....

Anyhow this is for Klinger ... I did two versions #1 with Magicland's track and #2 with Jaleel's track -- since this is for you so you can have your own Chicago system decide which one I should continue with!

Note -- if you pick jaleel's there's no going back to Magicland and vice-verse, ec since I'll be mass producing the items like I did for the MTA! LOL

Also, if you like, provide an e-mail and I can send you these items as I package them, so you can play around or even make suggestions! :hehe: :wave:

BTW -- if I commit I'm guessing that there might just be over 200 pieces, etc due to variations of the elevate trestles -- been looking at the Chicago transit system pictures, and there's quite variations to their elevated trestles!

The Chicago transit system is definitely up there on my top 9, so ish could you also send me some content and I will gladly give you feedback as I enjoy beta testing content, and I am And acelejalde I can't believe the work you and Bstyles and all those working together have come up with! If you note, most of his post is aimed toward Klinger. Or at least that is how it reads to me. Asking for someone to send you content is frowned down upon by most content creators here in the Trainz world. Most take notice of who askes for what, and will start to ignore said person.

I also didn't see anything in your post about looking at it to provide "supportive criticism" (btw the common term is constructive, not supportive). Your post read (when summarized): "I like your stuff, can you send it to me?" Which sounds like being a begging for content to me.

The reason I will send it to Klinger if he wants the contents before it hits the DLS is because he's shown great interest in the chicago system. He is also building that systme using what he has in his hands, which is parts and pieces from other contents. When I read his previous posts on this thread about chicago transit system lacking contents from the DLS I figure I get hands dirty!!!

Don't be discourage, tho, because I am committed to this system which means I am fast in mass producing items and uploading them quickly!:wave:

I feel it childish to argue about something I said to you. Also note that I find the phrase supportive criticism is blatanlty stated and does not need to be a common phrase. I'm sorry once again that you misinterpreted me but I'd like to say two things mainly: "I was not begging for content in any respect, but it had suggested my interest. Please stop arguing about what I was trying to convey, and don't make this into a foolish and immature debate about what my true intentions were." I simply have too much work on my table and only wanted to see what ish would make for constructive criticism.
I also can't seem to find a way to offer my help without being shot down by at least 20 out of the 60 trainz communities (I am aware of the frowning of peoples mouths when they see content beggers) I am a member of. I am disgusted by your lack of comprehension that I was only trying to support the community, not use it for greedy selfish desires (which, if you may note, PERROCK, I am not the only one who has responded to a creator offering content). I am sorry to Ish and PerRock, for I did not read the post addressing Klinger.

Hi Peter,

In my research, googling the system, I saw the real thing! I'm going to make a template of it (piece) as a piece! I also collected pictures from elevated station and bridges -- some really nice stuff! :wave:

Thanks for the screenie -- it's a shame their contents is not at the DLS for folks to share and use!!

Lastly, my ears are always open for any suggestions from anyone, within reason, tho, etc! :hehe:

Thank you Ish, I didn't notice that you said Klinger and I do apologize for intervening, I will gladly wait for the content to reach the DLS and only said something because I thought it was closed content (never to be released) and I should speak up. I give you my support as a Trainz member and thank you again for your wonderful NYCTA content, I'm thrilled that the Trainz Subway Community Content is expanding so rapidly. By the way, I hate to bridge this subway conversation far away, but if you have time I suggest London Underground Content, seeing as how that is apparently widely popular in subway communities in General. I am not requesting content but suggesting it, no one should take it as more than that!
