Wow Ish, I like it! I'd have to say Magiclands Track over Jabeel's. Chicago only uses Slab track in the Subway, its not common on the Elevated. And in theory, you can still go back and forth using different styles of Tracks. I've been doing it using FloridaRailMasters elevated tracks and Jabeel's Elevated Crossovers. I use the Elevated Crossovers where concrete roadbed exists (even thouygh its actually ballasted track) and connect it to the elevated sections.
However I am still intersted in your track. As I'm sure you seen by now, there is a HUGE variety of track in Chicago, all cobbled together.
To really do Chicago Justice, I'd have to build all my own track, But I think I'll stop at using what others build/have built. Although I have already built one of my own sections of Track. Its a set of steel girders that support the track, but with the track removed. This is seen on the Northwest Elevated, Lake Street Elevated, and the South Side Elevated where express tracks were removed
I'm in Chicago until Monday, if you need any pictures to build with, I can grab some on Sunday during the Snowflake Special
