NYCTA! pics!

I released my MTA Enginespec with 3 noches Speed to 40 - 41 mph its like driving a real NYCTA Subway trains! Soon I am going to release My Long Island Railroad Enginespec with the Same 3 Noches but reaches from 1 - 75 mph for the M1-3

BStyles - If you still had the mesh for the M1/M3 you were working on, I'd see about throwing it in the list of stuff to do. The GP38-2's and MP15AC's weren't the only pieces of equipment the LI owned..

But for what M1-3 engine?:(
The Bombardier M-1, 2, and 3 but I am going to make two versions of them one for the long island railroad and one for the Metro North. So I ma prepared just in case someone makes it or the ones that is/were in the process gets finished

Actually i'm looking at it right now. The mesh was kept safe on my flash drive in the "trainz mesh building" folder, two spaces away from the R160 mesh.

Hey there, I have been looking around and I have been making stuff like tracks and the new switching signals. So, I'm just wondering how can I tell I made the right size of them to put in the game and another thing How do you put mods in to Game Trainz unless there is a hole lot to do before it can be used???

I'm thinking on updating the Elevated tracks and making new subway stations tunnels? but im not sure what to do next-ed. Tell me what you think. Pros and Cons and so on.

But the thing is I'm not sure if all I'm saying its needed, so I'm just asking what is best for everyone here.

Bstyles,
I don't know if this has already been asked. But the bridge/viaduct/whatever-u-call it underneath the elevated track...Where did you get it. You posted a picture on the first couple pages....
Also wondering what the recommended platform/stairs for building el stations are.

I love to release this but the bad part is I don't know much on getting arts like this put in to games to get it tested out so, I would guess someone will have to do it but I thought that anyone will.

Confuse here?!

Ok, you created it in gmax or (whatever program you used) but you don't know how to displayed it in trainz?

If so, just ask for help -- the forum has some great folks that can help you set up the config file so it could be displayed!!!

Good Luck, and great contents!

There's a similar one. Called a viaduct, look up Maddy25 on the DLS.

I've been doing a small route for my own enjoyment, based in Chicago and New York, well... it has now about half the size of Manhattan. So, it is unrealistic, but I'm doing it for the fun factor :) . Tight curves, tall buildings, elevated rail... Aahh... I love it!! I've been having fun since its release in DVD in the uk. I still need to add the semaphores, both in rail and street level, and many other little things.

I was wondering if i would buy Railworks or this, I'm glad I chose Trainz, because Railworks is a payware fest that would never allow me to do what I did here in Trainz. ( At first glance I thought the 2010 didn't change much since UTC/2006 versions, but looking deep within it, it did... so I'm a happy costumer) - Bonus: I still haven't reinstalled 2010 yet, so that speaks volume!

I hope one day I can live on those cities.

I'm not going to release it because it can never match the quality of the routes I've seen in this thread...and in others.
Besides, some of the stuff I've downloaded for it doesn't work in Trainz 2010. Like Magiclands trains, and some of the tracks, including the elevated stations bar one.

So I had to do a few kit-bashes here and there, use stations from other countries and trains from Japan :P. it also took me ages of googling just to find the tracks I'm using, but sadly I still haven't found a good high quality third rail track.

I'm trying to replicate the irregularities of the rail I see in pictures and movies.

That looks brilliant! :) May I ask where you got that train?

Like I said before, its not a NYC train, but it looks more or less like one.

It's in DLS cehck TS2009 and TS2009 SP4/TS2010 versions and look for "Hankyu2800Mc_14" or "keimei" as the author. There are a few reskins he made, so maybe you should look for keimei only :P
