NYCTA! pics!

OUCH! Hope you are ok in the accident. Still can't wait for the stations to be released. Hope you are better soon A!

Hope you are well,
~Mikey <Mikey186>

Get well soon! I hope you have a nice Christmas! (I'm probarbly going to be away from the computer this Christmas, spending it with my Grandparents)

Not to clutter this thread with Get-Better posts, but that's just the most annoying/painful thing! I hope things get better. Car accidents can be a major inconvenience, but I don't think we at this thread place your content over your good health! Best of luck feeling better.

If only cars were like the ones on Trainz, where you can drive anywhere, even through buildings, other cars, and trains without giving a ****.

UPDATE

Sorry to hear that Ace- hope you fell okay. Well progress on my subway entrances are about 37% complete. The only line that I have put station entrances on are the 1 & W. For My R63 about 94% percent complete. My S Line 2% Complete.

S Route Abandon Tunnel

Okay I Haven't Told users in my other form about the abandon tunnel yet. So You've Seen the connection to the lower level of Grand Central Right? 5 Yards From Where The Tunnel Starts Going down it comes to a junction. The Left Tunnel Goes to The Lower Level And The Right 1 goes to 42 St On Street Level But Before it does all the tracks are covered with grass and bumpers. Street Level Tracks Are Rusty And Broken and leads dead end at Macy's. (Or Does It?) Before Macy's Was Built these tracks Connected to a tunnel That Leads To New Jersey but when it's facing the water there's a tunnel that used to Connect With New Jersey but is covered in bricks. This Used To Be The 1947 (13) train subway/ferry. There's the Present Version ( But NO Acsess to Macy's or street level) and there's the 1947 version when it's just completed But NO finished (S) shuttle service. Coming out Febuary 23,2013

Thanks for the wishes gentlemen. I'm very close to 100%, just dealing with some residual headaches, and I'm the proud owner of several new facial scars---that'll definitely rein in the ladies!

On a business note---Merry Christmas to you all. It's 4pm here in California, so those stations WILL be released tonight, keep your eyes peeled here or at either of the two NYCTA threads over on the Auran/Trainz forums. I've exported the 2T models, just 3 and 4 track to go. 6T variants will be a part of phase 2. Signals are fine right now, they just need to be adjusted to fit the new tunnels; there won't be any new signals to release besides repeaters. For the adjusted signals I will be released a set of CONFIG files that will be named "ST_Config", etc. Your only task is to input them into the appropriate folders and change the name back to simply "config" and you'll be good to go.

The signs package isn't available for download anymore because it's soon to become obsolete. The newer texture-replacement signs you saw earlier in the thread will be released in a week or so.

Keep those eyeballs peeled gentlemen. I'll be striking like a ninja, and you won't even know it!

NYCTA Subway Stations v3 Release!!!

Gentlemen, it has been a long hard road to get to where we are today and it's suc----

Ah hell. You don't need a long speech. Merry Christmas guys!

NYCTA 1T Stations

NYCTA 2T Stations

NYCTA 3T Stations

NYCTA 4T Stations

-A :hehe:

NOTE: Custom stations are not included in the pack (City Hall, Lex/63, DeKalb, Hoyt-Schermerhorn, and 135 St/St. Nicholas). Those will be in Phase 2 along with terminals, and other such custom stations. You can make a 6T station by using various pieces of the station and tunnel kit (Use the 1-wall stations and the tunnel parts to get the desired results).

BTW, for stations 2D, 3A and 3B you need to drag the spline portion from bottom-to-top to make it connect flawlessly. Those pieces are off-center so that the road attachment points would fit. If you pull them the opposite way they'll connect and be misaligned. I say this now, because I'm sure I'm going to receive a PM or a reply to the thread that points this out.

Texture fix for 4A Start/End Pieces

MINOR TEXTURE FIX FOR STATION 4A START/END PIECES

It has been brought to my attention that there's a transparent roof texture on the 4A end and start pieces. After some investigating, I've located the problem, and it's a quick fix.

Open for Edit in Explorer both "NYCTA Station 4A End" and "NYCTA Station 4A Start". Once the folders are open, look for the file "roof101-roof101.texture.txt", and open it up in one of the folders only. There should be a line that says "Alpha=roof101.bmp", which shouldn't be there. Delete that line and save the texture file. Simply copy and paste that texture file into the second folder, close explorer and commit the assets. Your roof for those end pieces should be good to go.

Wow I'm speechless.

Thank you so much for these stations ace. As for my S route is 97% DONE! All I have to do is take a track and edit it in google sketch up or gmax and rip it up to make it look like it wasn't used yet. Still have to replace the stations with Ace's stations and make a sign for 6R. That's all for now. Btw good to see you better ace! We couldn't do anything without our leader-!:hehe:

New Tunnel Piece

New Tunnel Piece:

Jeff Morris brought to my attention a lack of a no-clearance wall that can allow more than one track for the tunnels, so linked here is a .cdp file for the new piece, dubbed "Tunnel 1K". It has gap closers on each end; also included is a modified version of Tunnel 1E, the one-track no-clearance tunnel with gap closers added on each side, so you don't have to use H, I, or J to close the gap.

Enjoy!
