Go to the DLS and using "keywords" type in TOTC. You'll find a number of cars that you can use including being able to change the names of the cars to New York Central. You can also change the font types to match NYC lettering.

Looking for the order of cars in the consist of the passenger train.
I thought a "consist" was the order of cars as they are coupled to the loco.
I have all the TOTC listed on DLS but can't repaint per Rio Grand.

I would actuality like to see PW passenger car sets.
For the golden era of rail transportation in America.

The K-11s were assigned to secondary runs pretty much from the get-go. These trains were generally pretty poorly documented, so it's hard to get an easy answer to the question. Looking at period photographs is the best you can do for the K-11s. Luckily, the Otto Perry collection in the Denver Public Library has several pictures of K-11s (3000-3050, assigned to Michigan Central) in service running locals (possibly commuter runs?) out of Chicago. A few examples:
#3001, August 2, 1934
#3027, August 26, 1933
#3033, August 26, 1933
Based on these, it looks like a baggage car plus 3 to 5 coaches was an average consist. The TOTC coaches are a bit old to be appropriate for these engines. Heavyweights (like pweiser's NH 5300 and 7800 class cars) are a better match.

As I recall, engines assigned to the Peoria & Eastern (two-digit numbers, like my original model) were used in both freight and passenger service. However, I don't have access to the book where I found this info in order to confirm this.

The D&RGW car doesn't seem relevant to a discussion of NYC engines, but if you're wondering what goes behind a D&RGW P-44 (which is very similar to a K-11), a Harriman RPO/Baggage and two heavyweight coaches was a typical consist for trains 9 and 10 (to which the P-44s were often assigned.)

Cheers,
Ben

Thank you for info.
I don't seem to find a complete set of passenger cars on black pages.
Search "Heavyweight"by majicland coach is all I could find on DL black pages.

bendorsey Harriman Rolling stock can't be repainted per Rio Grand sample.
except 1 whitepass baggage car.

TPR only had 88-passenger steel coaches.

What about the dinners, sleepers, rpo, observation, baggage, smokers, bar sets

Thanks bdaneal for all the great locos .
