nVidia GeForce: Can get external GPU?

I have an HP Pavilion dm4t with Intel integrated graphics. As you can imagine, it's slow as hell at running Trainz. The software requirements call for a dedicated nVidia GeForce 7200 128MB GPU. Is there a way to get the GPU to run on my computer without prying open my laptop, thus voiding my warranty? Like, is there an external PCIe port that works for most of you?

Did you look on NewEgg or another aftermarket supplier? I've never heard of an external PCIe port, but I'm always surprised about what's out there.

So you're saying for the duration of the warranty period, any add-on, including additional ram etc. voids the warranty?

Yes there is, but it's not simple. Here's a link. You need to go way above a 7200 by the way.

You can only add a new GPU to a laptop if it was made to have one and that is hard to find and costly. There is no external PCIe port as there is a limit on how far the slot is from the CPU.

Check the link in post #3, it is do-able just not portable.
