NSW North Coast and Casino to Murwillumbah Railway Line

Hi Again.

There has been some pretty major updates to the Casino area lately. I have textured some of the ground, I have added quite a few locomotives and rolling stock, I have also finished the Casino Station track layout. Here are some shots.

Below are some of the trains at the roundhouse. On the far left is a un-numbered NR class diesel, then Pacific National liveried NR5, then National Rail liveried AN1, then CountryLink liveried
7301, then Interail liveried 42202, then FreightCorp liveried 42249.

So currently the focus is on Casino, then I will make the decision on wither to expand in the direction of Sydney, Brisbane, or continue building the Murwillumbah line which currently ends in Lismore.

Bye for now!

Hi again!

Recentley I redeveloped Lismore station to look more like the real thing, as the station before hand was something I made quite some time ago and was very inaccurate.

Here is the real station in 2005:

And here is a shot of my current station from the up end. Although there is still quite a bit of work still to be done.

Lismore to Byron Bay sections of track complete

Hi again!

All right so recently I have been laying track from Lismore to Byron Bay, and have just finished installing Byron Bay station.

Here are a few screenshots: (Special thanks to Natvander for the magnificent station building

Now as for making the town itself, that will have to wait. As I am constructing the route in 5 different stages.

Stage 1 - Laying of track and other key infastructure - stations, bridges, tunnels, embankments etc.

Stage 2 - Adding and completing road networks.

Stage 3 - Adding buildings and mountains.

Stage 4 - Texturing (Paint Tool) of places that haven't yet been textured.

Stage 5 - Finishing touches, adding details that where missed before hand and adding the trains!.

More screenshots coming soon.:)

Byron Bay to Mullumbimby & Mullumbimby Railway Station Complete

Hi Again.

I have finished the Byron to Mullumbimby sections of track and Mullumbimby station.

So of course the next stage of the track will be Mullumbimby to Murwillumbah - The terminus of the Murwillumbah branch, and therefore the final stage of track for the route.

Oh and I am on the lookout for some 421 class locomotives, as a group now owned by QRNational and re branded 'Interail', were called 'Northern Rivers Railroad'. This group conducted railway operations using 421 class and 422 class locomotives on the line between the 1990's and 2002. One of their more notable trains being the Ritz Rail Tourist train going from Lismore to Murwillumbah and back each day, and occasionally a excursion train that would usually go from Murwillumbah to Grafton, or Murwillumbah to Brisbane.

So, I went looking on the DLS for some 421 class locos (I already have the 422 class loco thanks to Davido) but only found paintshed reskins which ended up not downloading properly, high lighting red and reading the message ''Failed to retrieve download path'' wich leaves me to question, do paintshed reskins/reskins work with TS12? From what I've seen so far, they don't.

At Murwillumbah, but I just need a few things...

Hi again!

Alright Folks

So im at Murwillumbah, but I have little knowledge of the track layout in the yard, in front of the station, and pretty well most of the area around the station building.

If anyone has any photos/videos of the areas stated above, please send them to me via private messages, or just make a post on here. Thanks in advance

The station building may be another possible issue, but I have a plan.

So that's all for now, and hopefully in the next post I will have some photos of a nearly completed or completed yard and station area.
