Not the Owner of content for dispatch!!!!

Need Help on this one please.

I have attempted to prepare my first layout for upload to the download
station, but got as far as a message in content dispatcher which reads
-Cannot add this content as you don't appear to be the owner of it-..

This is not good, as I own the Deluxe Version of TRS 2004 and have
generated a few layouts with it, using free content also from the
download station where I felt the need (lots).

In a way I agree with the statement as not one item of it is mine,
thanks to all the content creators for trainz here..:wave:

but I did design my own layout using the free items and would love
to upload the layout to the web for all whom want to see to see...

Can anyone help in over comming this problem. Perhaps you have
met the same hurdle before and overcome it.

If you've downloaded items you must be registered, so go through everyplace you enter your kuid, including the Trainz program. Once Content Dispatcher recognizes you as the owner of Trainz, go back and resave all your layouts (save-as, then just use the existing name).
In TRS2004, double click the desktop icon, then click on Configure Trainz to register your username and password. I'm not sure where the kuid goes, but I think I added that to the program as well. It's been a while.
Other versions should be similar.

I had this problem with the very first route that I created. For some unknown reason, the kuid in the config got changed. I don't have a clue how it got changed, but when I changed it back to my kuid, it uploaded just fine.
Look at the config for your route and see if the kuid is yours.

If you did not put your kuid number into the edit kuid folder trainz has given you a -2 kuid number so will think it is not yours. Open the map folder and the map you want to upload. open the config folder and look for kuid and the number to the right of it. make sure that the first section of the kuid number is the number given to you by trainz.

Stagecoach's idea worked and my layout is
now available for all to see on the download station.

Just do a search for user name easy_e and there it
is, I love Trainz.
