Northern Arizona Route

You have placed here a good amount of very nice pics that are worth looking at. I've always asked myself where did you found such amount of beautiful trees (pines) and shrubbery (pinyons and junipers). I have search on DLS for them, but I didn't found anything like these. Are they available for download somewhere, or are they parts of a payware pack?
Thank you.

Thanks colorado71, vegetation to represent pinyon and juniper scrub has been an on going search since I started this route. I do, as Nicholas said, use JVC desert payware. I also use some denlog content (bushes and trees). For my ponderosa pines I use McGuirel’s Ultratreez conifers with a few of denlog pines mixed in. I recently got the 2D Conifer set from JVC. This set has a few pines that look very much like a high desert Pinyon or Juniper. You can see one above the BNSF warbonnet in the last shot I posted.

wowee..The closest myself and many trainzers will get to ever visiting Arizona will be driving this route.
Just a thought - should you and guys like mezzoprezzo ever work together I am sure you's would build trainz goodies and post screenies that will pop our PC's...:)

This route is marvelous. I have traveled through Northern Arizona and seen this part of the former ATSF, and I must say, you are doing a terrific job. The Southern Transcon in that part of the BNSF system is hot and arid, but you make it feel like a tropical paradise for running long BNSF freight trains.

Thanks jjanmarine3, thanks PereMarquette1225fan, I appreciate the comments.

Here are couple of 50’s era shots. The ATSF (JR) F7 reskins are by Timothetoolman at Trainz Forge. The rolling stock is Jointed Rail transition era. It’s amazing work on all of the content!

Thanks for the comments.

In these shots I've added a number of pines from the new JVC Rocky Mountain set. I love the colors and sense of lighting. There's quite a lot to choose from which is great.

Oh don't worry about em they're friendlies.

On another note, did you do the weathering on those Santa Fe F units yourself Gordon? They're fantastic.

That waving bear is great! Now I don't have to make up a story about the bears and the campers.
The Santa Fe F units are JR F reskins by Timothetoolman at Trainz Forge. I really like the coating of dust on the lower part of the A & B units. It's excellent work!
