Northern Arizona Route

Hi and cheers! What improvements did you make?

I made a protolars industry that uses your container products, would you like it to go on your site? Or can I upload it to DLS?

:)
^Either or. DLS would prob. be better if you don't mind your assets going to N3V.
-I updated them all to use a mesh library to save hdd space. More variety in 53ft containers. You can prototypically load the 53's per class one railroad. More poly friendly. Most importantly, they look a lot better, with normal and spec maps. Downside, I still need to do more skins for 20, 45 and 48 foot containers, to give more variety.
-This will give you an idea if you can view these:

Thanks :) Grabbed em.. and probably all of your other content. Think I have just about all of it from JR too! Cheers for your hard work, wouldn't have a layout without guys like you!

I love this thread. Your use of assets and textures is great. I always used to think I was alright at texturing but since returning to my USA route I seem to have lost some skill and find it hard to achieve what i'm after. :)

Is it cool to ask where to find some of the assets you used? I'm after particular things I can't put my finger on because i'm an Englishman making an American route..

I dunno but that bridge looks a bit long... :)

On another note, fantastic shots! This route never fails to amaze me!:udrool:

Thanks for the comment Alex. The Canyon Diablo Bridge is the highest rail bridge in Arizona. The bridge is 544 ft long. Bendorsey created this version of the bridge. I would say it’s accurate.

The first shot in your last post has to be my favorite so far! wicked work :)
Thanks Scratchy, I appreciate the compliment.

Thanks, if you want to PM me with some specific questions I’d be happy to help.

OK, I was referencing the small highway bridge in the last shot as it looks slightly long for its supports. :)

I used to live in the far northeastern part of the Phoenix metro area. The saguaro cacti are native to the Sonoran Desert and only grow at elevations below 4000 feet. This is my interpretation of the area I once live in.

Amazing Texture work Gordon, I learn sum thing new from everyone of your pics mate glad too see you still at this Route.
Cheers Mick.:)

Is it too much to ask if you would kindly tell me the kuid of the texture in the middle of the shot that has the rocks on it? Or the author of some of the textures you are using.. They are superb!

I like desert routes, so I'm looking forward when it will be done. My plans to visit Arizona this year was cancelled and delayed to a next year, so I hope I will visit this area via routes such this. :)

Thanks for the comments.

That would be TS09_40 523:333013
I use that texture often.

Nice little locomotive depot. You have the magic touch when it comes to trainz. That texture and yard work is beyond awesome.
