May I ask where you got that semi in the background in those pics? Thanks Joe, I got the new JVC pack. It has some very good stuff.
I also want to thank Kimo505 for the tip on the denlog content. denlog’s creations are great. There are a lot of useful trees and shrubs that I can use. When I get to the higher elevations between Winslow and Flagstaff I’ll have some good transition small pines to use. I think I’ve got a pretty good system going now as far as my high desert vegetation. After this I’ll see if I can start putting up some more interesting views rather than all these side profile views of the tracks.
Here are a few new shots. I think zorronov’s sky, which I just got, works well with this desert landscape.

Thanks maverickmc, I appreciate your comments! When I lived in Arizona I was fortunate to have traveled throughout the state as much as I did. This is a fantastic looking route sir! I have been to northern Arizona many, many, many times. You have completely nailed the scenery down. Impressive work, I look forward to more shots!
Thanks for the comments. I still have a long way to go. I really don’t worry about the time it will take. I just focus on each section as I slowly move along. From the work I've seen from the beginning to the end it looks frickin amazing!!!!I can't wait till it comes out.:udrool::mop:
-I think you mean Jankvis and the site is here http://jvctreez.net/store/index.php :hehe:Impressive. Great work as always! Do you think I can get the website of Jango's for the JVC tree's and such please? :Y:
Thanks drickettes. It’s one of those lucky screenshots and I only took one. It almost has a railroad postcard quality to it.Now that's a great shot!
Thanks Bob, I’m holding off on the Winslow to Flagstaff part of my route for now. There are specific bridges and buildings I will need to start working on that. I will also need better reference material. I’m really just winging this east of Holbrook part as it is mostly wide-open desert plateau with just a few small towns. That is a nice shot..very typical of the area..I'm anxious to see you future route when you get around Flagstaff..
Thanks zieba111, I’m not sure what to call it. It’s certainly based on the real thing but my approach is more visual impression than follow the map accuracy. I started this route in December. I would say I’m a long way off from completing the route.Awesome!!!:udrool: I saw this thread first time. Woow, wonderful textures using. We can feel Arizona like we were there!
Can You tell, is this a real route or fictional route, and how long to make it?
Thanks Brad, hey what’s all that white stuff on the ground outside? ‘Haven’t seen much of that this winter. So, “Long hood forward” as in Great Northern!! Some GN GP7s and GP9s or SD7s and SD9s would be great. Its too bad GN is not very well represented in Trainz. In model railroading GN is s big seller.Hello, neighbor! Absolutely STELLAR work, sir! Some of the best screenshots I've seen on the forum!
One question...the poles in the last pic, with the green glass insulators, what item is that?
Thanks maverickmc, I’m using all the JVC desert packs plus the new ST-10 pack.Impressive. Great work as always! Do you think I can get the website of Jango's for the JVC tree's and such please? :Y:
