For those interested the Dash 8's are on hold due to burnout/newer version. Hope to have more postworthy screens soon:) .

...update...

Back in double digit pages - I guess it's time for an update. Since last time- seven new miles of track + completing Otis and North Otis (which I skipped over to build more countryside). So here's the pics:

A farm scene off the beaten track near Otis:

Northbound at the Pond:

From the Overpass in Otis:

End of track as of yesterday morning (53.72 miles of mainline on TrainzMap)- not much done since except foresting the hillside:

A ride with Q183- I decided to take the new toys for a spin today:

Soaring over the creek in Otis:

It's a feat of engineering!:hehe: No, really- I had intended this spot for a deck truss bridge I'd seen in a lot of 06 shots, but because of 06's teething problems and the lack of Legacy content in TC I'm sort of stuck as to what to put here. Static bridges wouldn't work- its a 1.5% grade- and the DLS seems to lack heavy duty deck truss splines at last check. But it's already been there since May, so I guess it could wait for TRS 2009.

That's all for now! Hope to get more done soon.

In the summer of 1979 a detoured B&O coal train roars upgrade near North Otis with three GP40-2s, a GP40, and a GP35 leading plus 2 GP40s pushing.

I dont know if i already posted this, but if you go to carsoncarshops.com the creator Pencil42 has made a very nice Pratt truss-spline bridge, which is very universal for almost anything. Works well.
Cheers,
Sean

*bump*

All the way to page 21- I guess it's time I brought this thread into 2008 :hehe:

Progress has been glacially slow due to school work but here's some shots from the past months:
