I thouught I'd give this a try and I'm using them to make the Golden Spike NHS and Greenfield Village. I don't think I'll remove the basemaps, as they look good as playmats!

New Haven Metro line

I"ve been woorking on this line in the past few weeks, I also Adding Amtrak and acela together on this line! I can't wait to finish!I started from New London CT For amtrak and acela. I will have the whole new haven line done , until New York city! It's lovely I'm having a lot fun modeling this railroad !The only fiction on this line the amtrak and acela will run till Grand Central Terminal (NY), instead of pennstation. and also adding some freight.My Plan is to have CSX running that for me!

On the section you're modeling, Metro North comes into Grand Central from New Haven, Shoreline East Goes to New London and Old Saybrook from New Haven, Amtrak regionals, metroliners, and Acelas full route, and for freight from New York to New London CSX, Providence & Worcester, and in New London New England Central.

I see some of you have recovered this thread out of the depths of this forum, so allow me to give you an update.

Because of some real life changes (nothing to worry about) I had to put the project on hold, so as it is right now it's lying flat and collecting dust and all those of you that are waiting on the "Northeast Corridor" route have to wait for news from "TrainzProRoutes", which are also doing it (Referring to a post earlier in this thread).

I may pick up work in the future, but don't take my word for it.

ATM there are about 20 different NEC projects going on.

I vote we find all the people working on versions (including me to a certain extent [trackage from DC Union Station to Alexandria]) and put their work together.
