Good to see all the familiar faces on this thread again,
Hello WCL, Bryan, Jim, and Gisa.

Those recent shots look better than ever, even in night mode, your route really shines.

By the way Jim, did you ever get permission to release that frontage road?

Cheers,
Woody:wave:

Thanks Gisa, W, Woody, Bryan, and Epoche.
I appreciate your comments :)

I didn't want to put out more pics of the area I already covered, but I got caught up in a night scenario that felt kind of cool.

Still experimenting with scenery, including low-impact frame rate
track, doing ballast matching, reskinning and all that fun stuff.

Currently working on the yard and area west out to portal for the eventual completion of this 1st section of the route. It takes me much longer that I originally anticipated.

I hope you are all able to enjoy the beginning days of the Christmas season.

Thanks Gisa,

I hope the road works out for you :)

Out east of I-25 heading into the flatlands, you can find old Colorado & Southern road bed that hasn't been torn up ( looking west).

The ghosts of sugar beet and track laborers also remain.

Where can I get this "track"?

Ronayne,

I think that is a reskin I did of MP's overgrown track bed. I'll check later and try to find a kuid # of the original. I took a pic of the ties and ballast out in that area and used it to do the reskin.

Thanks David! :)

There would have to be 1000's of Trainz screenshots showing a road, some grass, a track, a few trees and some buildings. Yet, when you put these things together Jim, they somehow turn into a work of art. I wonder just what the magic ingredient is.

Anyway, thanks for providing my screen background for the next week or two!

Ronayne,

Here's the kuid to the original MP overgrown track.

Thanks Deane! :) That's VERY kind of you.

I'm glad to see so many trainzers using your content in their routes. Now THAT's art!

C'mon Jim, anytime you're done playing "slap and tickle" with your new gal pal,
Janet Napolitano, can you post more screens? I'm getting sick of watching Fox News, and I'm spending a fortune on cotton patches from cleaning my guns so often!

Hi Ed!

Thanks for making my private relationship with Janet Napolitano a public spectacle. Yes, I did have the hotz for her until she recently made the comment that the war on terror should be referred to as "man made disasters." I'm afraid that her views on homeland security has killed it for me, despite my recent injections of testosterone.

So....I now spend much of my time perusing my old flame.............

This beautiful left handed modified 1977 Fender Mustang Bass with the Antigua finish.....

BTW, Ed. How's your new career going as an ACORN recruiter?
Sorry to hear that the enlistment numbers have drastically declined, but you know more about that than I do.

Dricketts,

The route version is for 2006, and the decision on whether or not to upgrade yet to 2010 has got me in a stalemate. I need to put a rubber band around my head and snap out of it.
