North Central Colorado

Yah, thanks for stoppin' on in to the barber shop there again IC!? Good to see ya!

Jim, again, great looking shots. I keep telling myself, "Ok these are not real life photographs, they're a train simulator screenshots!"

:hehe:

I look forward to more more more!

:)

A couple of the most realistic Trainz terrain shots I've ever seen in that last lot. Great work Jim...

Andy :)

Thanks WCL. Bryan, Woody, Dermmy, and Max.

Fantastic shots Jim! My wife happened to be here when I looked at them and even she was surprised. She said that the house looks so real with the shadows and the lights on. I have to agree. :)

I really like the derelict signs you have. They are a small thing but they add so much character to your shots!

I noticed in your first post, third shot that there is a very nice looking road. It looks like one of maddy25's YARN roads except the lines are yellow. Did you reskin that road? If not, do you know it's KUID?

Keep up the great work and if you can, keep the shots coming!

Hi Jim

Can't believe I just discovered this thread. You've made such progress since you last sent me some pics back in 2008. Your attention to visual detail hasn't faded at all. Amazing stuff. I hope you can retain the energy needed to finish this, it will be a classic.

Hi Gisa,
Thank you and your wife for your encouragement!
With night shots, the tree shadows seem to work well for full moons or VERY frequent lightning (like last night) :)

Yes, this stretch of road is a reskin from one of Maddy's YARN roads.

Adjusting the gamma setting, which I usually turn down a few notches for night driver sessions in the Performance options menu.

Thanks Deane,

and good to hear from you again. The medical thing has been ongoing since last fall and the energy could be better. I remember telling you about putting a scene together for your great work on the sugar beet structures out of Longmont. Haven't done it yet, but that will be one of my personal highlights for this route.

srr89,

Thanks:). While you're here, I can't remember if I asked you about reskining your splendid decapod, #90 back to the original GWR logo. She'd be a welcome addition to the 1954 route.

Hmmmmm....last summer eh? That seems like a looooong time ago. I can't quite recall. Are you referring to the church lady that came to visit ....... or .......maybe your cousin? :o

Which ever one it was, I have a faint memory of sending you a picture of her posing next to a refrigerator.

Whoa, wait a minute....it's all coming back to me now. I made it into a poster and put it up at the loading docks of the Budweiser plant. It's a big hit I hear, but a little distracting to the employees on the forklifts.

Dadgum it! There's another one of them blasted 3D pictures that hurts my eyes!

Sure thing I'll see what I can do.

Hey everyone!

Sorry I've not been around this week, been out of town. Mainly vacation stuff.

Nice pics Jim! Glad to see you're progressing right along. Keep up the great work! I mean to get to my own route sometime soon when things slow down a bit.
