Well yeah. But it is more polite to ask.

Looking east from the station:

Looking west to the station:

Looking into the city over the small line of residential buildings forming the city limits:

This was taken a couple of moments ago and the problem of the flying fences has been resolved.

If you want to have more pictures up of the route tell me.

and to be honest I was working on the route before I knew that this competition was up.

Note: some detail parts of the route have been left out of the pictures

i have a route i'd like to get on here at some point, but my parents went mental at my exam results, and have taken TRS, saying i spend too much time on it, so i wont be able to finish it for a while D:

but hopefully i will get some work done at some point.

Like to see more entries......

Here is a few more from Route #3. The funny thing is that I would labor for hundreds of hours only to have my FPS grind to a halt abandon that project and start a bigger one.:hehe: The other thing to keep in mind is the quality and amount of content today is far greater than two or three years ago. Fortunately with better computers and graphics cards higher quality routes are possible.....for anyone willing to make the effort.:o

I would still like to see some veterans post some of the earlier work....

.....no need for embarrasment after all this is the noob thread.:p

After Learning the Basics.....

After learning the basics I decided to try a prototypical route. I choose the Conemaugh & Blacklick RR, a Bethlehem Steel Shortline in Johnstown PA. Route #4 is still primative. I am currently working on the third verision of that route.

The Hinckstin run dam which was built out of slag. This dam proved to be unbreakable in the 1977 Johnstown flood. Notice there are no tree and assorted vegatation. I was scared that trees, bushes, and grasses would bring my computer to a halt. :hehe:

The Oldtimers told me that there was a round house at this location in Comemaugh so I put one there.

Notice few textures and default tracks.....:o

After some futile attempts at route building, I quickly gave up. Left it to those can actually do something. These were done in UTC about 2003. BTW, this was all default content because it was done with the UTC demo.

What's wrong with them? I especially like the third shot except for the track.
