Noob Route Building Contest

This is for everyone who has little or no expierence with route building. I know there have been thousands of these, but I want to see what people with little experience can create.

Your Route Must Be
  1. The demensions can be no larger than 7x8 baseboards.
  2. Any scale is eligible.
  3. The route MUST be completly your plan.
  4. Advise is also okay.
  5. Good Luck :D

question. My route is not done yet and I am planning on doing much larger than 7X8. It isn't there yet though. Would I be able to enter mine?

Maybe you should build up to 7 by 8 then stop and finish up, submit it, and then continue on later. Unless u've aalready exceeded 7 by 8, not sure.

I have 7 or 8 baseboards right now but thats not the dimention. Its only 1 baseboard in width right now and makes an L (i just started it.) OK, how about this, as long as I don't have 56 baseboards is it enterable? I have no desire to make a square, condensed route.

I think that;s worth a shot. Let's hear what the big man says before making any plans!

Keep up the great work

Maybe even a Q or a X. I'm not nooby (anymore :hehe: ) so I cannot really praticipate but I am eager to see all of the work that newcomers to Trainz can do.

Keep on chugging along!

Davis

Heres a new route that I have been tinkering on in the spare time...Its a Chessie route thats free lance but its based in the fall to have the fall leaves give off on a nice back drop on the Chessie locos

Here we catch a Chessie local racing thru the crossing.....Yes thats my friend in that car...He left the gas station a lil to late to try and catch this train.....I beat him here but he went a lil to fast to try and catch this train to get a shot...And well...As you can see....He got busted :hehe:

Everyone was a Noob once.......

I saved the very first route I ever made......

thats not half bad for a noob just the mountains are kinda wierd ;) ;)

Actually the making mountains and grades was one of most difficult route building skills to learn. Fortunately instead of learning the hard way like I did there are tutorials to learn mountain and grade construction.
