I'm totally new to all this and I'm confused.
If I buy Trainz Classic will I be able to load all locos and stuff from old version from auran web page?
I like this new version but it only have two scenarios and few locos. I know TRS2006 have tons of locos and stuff.

Thanks in advance

You can download anything from the DLS and most items will work, some may need errors correcting. Some layouts and wagons etc may need the built in items from the TRS206 DVDs.

If you are into steam then buy TC3 possibly with a copy of TRS206 for the built in stuff.

I would recommend buying TRS2006 first, just to see if you like it, as it generally now costs from £5.00 on the high street, and TC3 is £13.99 direct from Auran.

I saw TRS2006 from my friend and I like it. But, if I can load all stuff from TRS2004 and TRS2006 in TC then it looks better choice for me.

It may be better to buy both at once, as you can the import the content from TRS2006 into TC, which will probably be quicker than downloading it all.

As far as I am aware the built in items in TRS2006 are not available for download.

No, You Will Need Only T.C Content Off Of T.C.R and formats such as .cdp2

False advice again!!! No, not strictly true. You can still use the download station (providing you have registered your serial number, I am not at liberty to comment about the above user!). If you download anything in CDP format, you can also use these with CMP. To do this:

Right click on the cdp file then click "Open With"
At the prompt, scroll down the list until you find "Content Manager" if its not there, then click "Browse"
Locate the directory you installed TC in and then double click the Bin directory
Double click on ContentManager.exe
Click ok

Now double click the file and it should open.

If not, open CMP, then click file and import CDPs, then select the CDPs you want to import.

(I assume you mean by web page).

However, rereading your post, if you mean the default content that comes with 06, if you wish to use the content from 06 and before, you have to purchase a copy of 06 and copy the relevant .ja files over. (Or open them for edit and import them that way.)

I cant find Trainz on steam, any version. :o

What is DLS?

It looks we didn't understand good each other. I asked where can I buy online (and ready for download) TRS2006 for only $5. And TC is $17 not $14 from Auran.
I want downloadable game if it's possible.

The DLS is the Download station, where you can download content for trainz.

As for downloadable versions, auran's shop has a downloadable version of trainz classics 3. It costs the same as the boxed version.

I'm not sure if I saw wrong few days before. I would give my hand that I saw $17.99 and not 17.99€ as it is now on Auran web shop

I made decision and buy with PayPal TC3, but I must wait for verification. Thank you all for help.

OK guys, I bought TC3 and now I'm happy owner of this game. I'm going to hollydays tomorrow and when I'm back I'll surelly have bunch of questions for you :hehe:
