Noob question about downloading content

Hi,
Just got Trainz 12, and was trying to download a multiplayer route. (A & SLT, it's called). When I try and run the session, it tells me I need to download a bunch of content. All of it downloads fine except for one item: GLC GP35 #391. When I try and download this one item from download station, it tells me I need Paintshed installed. But, from what I gather, paintshed is obsolete, and can't really be made to work with Trainz 12.
I presume this session I was downloading was recent, since it is multiplayer (only supported in Trainz 12, not before, correct?).
How do I go about downloading required content that seems to plainly not be compatible with the version for which it was designed? (I.e. item A (session) requires item B (object); item B requires item C (paintshed); item C isn't compatible with program running item A.)
Am I just confused here? Perhaps there is something simple I'm missing.

I would love it if anyone could offer some advice,

Wrong.TS2010 was the first, but you needed to patch that first. TS12 was the first to have Multiplayer already built in. A & SLT was made for TS2010.

If you want to find Multiplayer routes for TS12, go to Content Manager, and search for the name Multi with Minimum Build Version set to 3.5 (or 3.6?). This wil show the TS12-only routes and sessions that are guaranteed to work.

Ahhh, thank you. I didn't know that.
I will do as suggested and search for the more up-to-date content.
