The list of cars is in the region config, not the road config. Open the region config, to change the cars just change the kuid numbers. You can put any cars you have in your database in the region config. The best way is to clone a region, replace the existing cars with the cars you want and rename the region, save and commit.

There is more to it but this is the basics of getting cars on your roads. It is a builtin region in TS2009. Notice this has a tag 'ontheright' = 1 which means the cars will drive on the right hand side of the road, if you change the 1 to a 0 the cars will drive on the left.

Hydro,
What you are showing in the above list is the kuid-table in your route config.txt file. Notice it is:
Code:
kuid <kuid:244549:1044>
kind "map"
The region in your route is kuid:-1:7803 whose name in CM is United Kingdom. Find kuid:-1:7803 in CM and you'll see this list in its kuid:
Code:
car0 34
car1 35
car2 36
car3 28
car4 30
car5 31
car6 32
car7 33
car8 37
car9 38
car10 30
car11 41
car12 42
This list of cars is in shorthand notion, showing the last part of the kuid number, that Auran used to use. For example, the first car0 is actually kuid:-1:34 which CM lists as Vehicle Green.
Other region kuids such as PTP Region,<kuid:151900:1> have a car list that shows the entire kuid number.

I could not see Car in my config file.

You won't see cars in your map config. As Bob said find the region config and open it. In cmp search panel, click on the arrow by the left panel and select 'Asset Kuid' then in the right panel type <kuid:-1:7803> exactly as shown then click apply, open the config file in that item and see if there are cars listed there.

Ok I have find the right config file, but how many cars can I have. Some said before no more then 15, but the config got 25 cars.

Hi Hyderpotter,

Sorry I don't know what the new limitations are, it used to be 15 in TRS2004 and TRS2006.

Glad you found it at last.
Cheers,
Bill69

The builtin regions in TS2010 have 26 to 32 cars in them. Apparently the older restrictions on number of carz in a region have been changed.

Bob

I have edit the config file and find I am not getting cars moving moving the road.

The vehicles you are using are for older versions of Trainz. To use them in TS2010 you'll have to edit all of them to add the following tag to the config.txt file of each vehicle:
trackside 0.01
I edited a couple as shown in this snippet:
Code:
light 1
trainz-build 2.4
trackside 0.01
and they work just fine.
