No sound for TRS22 (build 132285)

I bit the bullet on my budget and bought a new Windows 11 computer. I installed TRS22 and updated it to the build shown in the title. I have not been able to get the sound to work. What is odd is that when I go to the apps tab in Settings, TRS22 is NOT there in the list. I'm thinking this is the reason why it won't show up in the Sound Mixer (but Firefox is also NOT listed, and I get sound from it). Just for the heck of it, I installed TMR17 and TRS19 as well. No sound for them either, nor are they listed in the App as installed.

Is there a way I can force Windows to recognize these three apps?

Are there entries in the Settings - Apps for TANE? For some unexplained reason, all Trainz versions from TANE onwards (TRS19, Trainz+, TRS22) appear in the Apps listing as TANE

Ah. I do see TANE there. That threw me off because I don't have TANE on my computer. I started TRS22 and went to the menu to check the box to get sounds during menus. I got the sound. Then I unchecked the box and went on into the game. Now I do have sound. I guess somehow that jogged the game/computer elbow into making it work.

Weird.
