Problems saving routes in TRS22 Plus

MSGSapper

I am have been having problems lately saving a route from Surveyor Classic in TRS22 Plus (Build 132284). TRS22 attempts to save but goes on for some time and eventually gives me this message as shown in the below screenshot:

I am using SP6 with the hotfix installed. Anyone else experiencing this?

I've seen this a few times, long before SP6. I recommend running a DBR. I think that's what I did to fix the problem. Unfortunately, you'll lose any work you've done because you'll have to exit Surveyor to do that.

I have done severals DBRs lately for one reason or another so don't think that is the issue here. The route is a very simple one of four ground grid squares of zero altitude covered by one PBR ground texture, and containing a single 3D person, and whatever else I want to test or take a screenshot of. The problem occurs when I make a change or add or subtract to that route and then try to save it.

Have you tried creating another route?

How much disk space do you have?

Have you checked the drive for errors?Answsers:

1. No.
2. Plenty (5TB free) and it is a WD_BLACK 8TB SN850X NVMe Internal Gaming SSD purchased in Feb of this year.
3. I am saving in other applications, such as Blender, all the time without issue. A disk issue would show up not just in one application but across the board.

Try a new route just because. This could be a weird glitch.

I'm glad your hardware is okay. 8TB SSDs are expensive these days. I was looking at them the other day and decided to stick with my old spinning rust for now.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

I first noticed this issue after updating to SP5 in my TRS22 Plus edition. The problem as always is that updating becomes something similar to "plug and pray" when it comes to Trainz. Fixing one issue often leads to breaking something else and we have seen with SP6.

Spot on observation. It's always been that way since day one.
