Remember, remember the fifth of November

Fireworks Night - also known as Bonfire Night and Guy Fawkes Night.

Its history begins with the events of 5 November 1605, when Guy Fawkes a member of the Gunpowder Plot, was arrested while guarding explosives the plotters had placed beneath the House of Lords. Celebrating the fact that King James 1 had survived the attempt on his life, people lit bonfires around London, and months later the introduction of the Observance of 5th November enforced an annual public day of thanksgiving for the plot's failure.

Now a social occasion celebrated in the UK on 5th November each year with parties held in private and public displays in towns and villages throughout the land.

Thank you Bob, Frédo and Kamran for your kind words.

..You can almost here the fireworks..

You can hear the fireworks.

Both of these very similar assets whistle and crack as they climb and explode in the sky.

They have a very small ground anchor point. It can be seen but is difficult to relate to the position of the airborne explosions. Carefully note where you place them; it will make them easier to find should you want to move them later.

Great shots, Casper. :)

Speaking of fireworks, I made some fireworks for TRS2004 using Twinkles last year. They use an explosion texture derived from a photo of fireworks at Wikimedia Commons. I think they look more realistic than the fireworks assets from the DLS that you're using, but unfortunately they do not have any sound effects. Perhaps I should release them soon™.
