newly ordered DL, where or when?

hi, i couldn't find an answer to this so i'll post this here. i just ordered and received confirmation for Trainz 2009, but this is after the 25th, and i think the beta is closed. i'm just wondering if i'm to wait for an E-Mail from Auran or if i'm meant to check in and DL from the Store's site after a certain day?

I am quite certain there will be an announcement made on the Forum when the download is available . Also a mailing date for those who ordered the disc .

thanks, i was hoping that was it. disappointed that i didn't get the beta, but, in another sense, happy to postpone another XP app installation. i am excited about this though... like a kid... and when my retirement funds hit my account last night at midnight, i was on the net, ordering. i've gone through all the Trainz and each new iteration is so well hyped by the company, and so almost good, and wait for the updates. this one sounds like a helper though. i hope it doesn't have that 'orient express' interface that the first Classics had. that was kind of insulting to my train consciousness.
 
Actually since my post I visited the TS2009 site and read the following :
Those that pre-ordered TS2009 as a download will be notified by e-mail late November , mailing of the Disc will begin early December .

E-mails possibly by the 26th which is today !

trainz newsletter

I don't know if there is something wrong with my email or what. Sometimes I get the newsletter and sometimes I don't. I hope this doesn't effect whether or not I receive my notice concerning the release of the game. I know that there a newlestter that was released on the 20th of this month which I did not receive. For those of you who are interested it can be viewed on the ts 2009 home page. It plainly states that the release of download version is to be today;)

I'm not sure that we have announced an official release date. "As soon as the 26th" means "not before the 26th but possibly on the 26th". The pre-order offer has expired and we'll be looking at the build today to see if it qualifies as a Gold Master release. We are definitely very close...

It won't be long now before any of the shortcomings are highlighted and all the new features overlooked :p

Patience is a virtue that i do not possess when it comes to trainz... I can hardly wait, i keep checking my email for the direct download link.....:udrool:

Or maybe the 27th or after that , possibly the 1st of December , or before , and possibly , maybe even sooner(tm) or it could be possibly later than that , or even later ?

dang. i got them turkeys up to fort smith and i was hoping to build me a short line down to little rock before thanksguver'n and now i'm going to have to herd 3500 turkeys down the two-lane. smokey's not going to like that.

I now have a new serial number in my profile above the BETA serial...and a release date of November 27 under that....It is almost here......:cool:
 
You new blokes don't know the system do you ???

We oldies allways add the letters "TM" after the word "soon" then we all know what Auran's statement's mean.
Then we know to wait and see.

Well spotted Rocko. I even learned that by checking your Order History and clicking on the serial number that now appears on your order, you can auto-register right now. I was first to register :p

And Norm, the emails will go out within moments (which is way quicker than soon ;) )
