New CNW sd40-2's

These will be the no ditch light version:) I plan on doing 2 schemes of this sd40-2 in CNW. The first scheme has CNW on the nose the second scheme will have the CNW herald on the nose. Ive always been a huge fan of the CNW because they ran with SP alot out west. Something about an SP and CNW unit together.

I too am a fan of CNW, My friend Bill at MRM worked for CNW for seven weeks (Temporary Job Opening) and he said they were the best company he ever worked for. He dredded through MoPac for almost I think 20 years. Bill has worked on railroads for 40 years, he retired last year.
I like the herald on the nose the best, glad you are making them!
 
Oh and Frank, have you ever considered doing some IC SD40-2's? I know there are a few on the DLS, but they are not the right color of black nor do they have ARN. I would like to see some, with ditch lights in the Black paint scheme.

yes i have considered doing IC.I like their look but i am swammped with stuff to do so who knows maybe some day ill do them. :confused:
 
really nice ..i just started with trainz and the C N W is the railroad of youth . how are these comming along? and would you know where to dl a c n w bay or cupola caboose?

Hmmm - normally bumping a dead two year-old thread with a 'howzit going' post would be a tad irksome, but since (a) you are new and (b) the loco in question did in fact get finished let's cut you some slack and give you this link http://www.sporbust.com/TRS-Downloads.php

I see you only have TS2010 - Frank's locos are good to go in 'Compatibility Mode' but need some work to get them into Native. Searching the forum for 'Sporbust' and/or 'SP_OR_Bust' will get you the threads you need...

thanks ..my bust on the old post ..thanks for for the link ...dl'd and installed ...ran in compability mode ...no go /looks like a missing dependencie? i belive this is whats missing/kuid:357697:1225 thanks all the same ...i installed 4 payware packs from rrmods cnw gp 15's and sd40's as well as gp 50's ns and gp40's w&le . if you have any clue as to how to get th 40-2's running point me in the right direction i'll look up sporbust and see whats up thanks
 
correction....installed and running...found the missing files ....this fourm is great ..had to do a little searching but i found what i needed ..should of searched befre i made my self look like a idiot ...now all i need is a cnw caboose. thanks again....ken
