could I suggest you use your reskin on the new A320, it should fit quite well, and release the reskin so as to obsolete your earlier model. This way we get to use your reskin on the correct aircraft shape.

The Jetstar Australia also has the orange underside, that might take a little more work.

Ian

Hello Ian,
I was just thinking about whether to put my 737 reskin onto the A320 model and will start soon.
Can I also say thank you for the Fokker Frendship aircraft :clap:as these were the aircraft that allowed most of the rural airports in New Zealand including my current project Tauranga Airport (will post some screenies soon) to start regular services.

On a side note static models are available for all my models (exculding the Original Airbus A380 which I should have finished soon).
Just search for the original model name plus static on the end i.e Gulfstream G650 QantasLink static.

N.B for the Air NZ Gulfstream search for Gulfstream G650 Air New Zealand Link (has the correct name now!:hehe: )

Ian, you have been very busy. I am sure many of your domestic planes will bring back a few memories for some here, they look great.

With the amount of planes you are creating we are all having trouble creating airports in time for their arrival.

Many thanks again for all your work and also of those reskinning planes which I think takes a bit of pressure off Ian.

Thanks for the appreciation guys, alien's aircraft mean I do not have to do the Victor. :)

Yesterdays project, the DC10s, are available.

Colours are:
Continental;
British Airways;
British Caledonian;
Northwest;
Swissair; and
Singapore.

These have operating flaps and static versions available.

Jamie, eventually the Blackhawk or Chinook will get to the top, though they will take a bit of work to do correctly.

My Word, you're just our trainz version of Boeing Aircraft corp. aren't you vulcan?!

Not like that's a bad thing. It's great to see so many drivable aircraft available for trainz now. The A-10 and the other warplanes are great for my musuem route...i.e. i'm gonna be doin' some train strafing!

hordes of drivable aircraft, check. hordes of drivable warships...superadaptor time!

A quick update:

You can see the difference in the shape of the nose too,

Needs a few minor tweaks, should be ready soon.
Some screenshots of Tauranga Airport to follow! :D

That's great news Ian, many thanks for this one :clap::Y:. Hopefully the Bombardier is climbing your creation ladder list :mop:. Then my Southlines route will have a reasonably modern rural airline fleet. I am sure the Dash 8 will be more then suitable for the small airfields I have to build there at the moment.

Though after the last few days around the Wagga area landing may not be possible for some time due to flooding :( :)

trainz2010-10-1615-07-57-29.jpg

The same Boeing 767 meets a dc10 (thank you Ian :) ) at the first airport.
trainz2010-10-1615-08-23-96.jpg

And to finish up a lineup of my airways fleet. (if you look closely at the 747s tail fin you will notice half of the meerkat from that advert on its tail fin to gain publicity :hehe: )
Hint. Ian if you added wing lets and lenghend the fuselage of the dc10 you could make the md11.

As promised:
After multiple trips to the airport and being tapped over the shoulder by a CAA officer:hehe: I bring you Tauranga Airport.
This airport is the fourth busiest in New Zealand with over 77,000 aircraft movements (6,600 scehduled flights and 70,400 other aircraft movements) which ranks it just behind Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch International airports.

Tauranga Airport has been recently surrounded by industrial area.

In anticipation of the arrival of the Dash 8, the council used Wagga Wagga's terminal plans to build a new one at Tauranga :hehe:
nzms201010160004.jpg

Tauranga is currently served by the Friendships and Gulfstreams but locals are keen to start a new service with the Dash 8:D

Ian, the Dash 8 is looking good! If you need any photo refrences of Air New Zealand's Dash 8 aircraft I few a few you can use from my excursions to the airport.

Airport looks great,

Ian please note the headlight on the friendship looks about a meter in front of the aircraft.

Gordon,

Thanks for that, I may update them as they should have a four bladed prop instead of the three, it is obvious in the static models.

Ian

Would like to say thanks to those who created or reskin these models. My Heathrow terminal 5 now has a nice range of British Airways aircraft to fill it.
