New Aircraft

Thanks for that Rob. Yes I'm really impressed with the C17 - I'm sure with all that gadgetry Ian would find it an interesting challenge to produce a moving jetway! Thought of building an RAF transport section but don't think RAF will appreciate circling for 3 hours waiting for a landing slot.

Your comments on who basically does what is appreciated - I certainly won't be joining you re-skinners yet - lots I want to do yet on my route, but more than willing to share what know-how I have got with anyone.

Thanks for replying
Bob

Hi,

Rob, I generally agree with your comments.

On my side, I make reskins of mainly commercial or light aviation aircrafts. Some military, on case to case basis.
I also exchange ideas with Vulcan about new models, but also about modification of existing aircrafts.
Yes I concentrate on European models, but I also cover other countries like Asia, middle East, etc..
I am (just like Rob, I think) open to any request regarding particular reskins. Just consider there may be a waiting list.

For CJ187 items, you should have a look to this adress: http://www.trainz-multiplayer.de/index.php?page=Portal - Go to Filebase - downloads fur dein TS2010 - Luftfahrzeuge
His airplanes are also on the DLS, but I have no record about a Jetway aircraft. You can contact him through this website.

Cheers
Pascal

Hi Pascal

Thanks for your comments and will follow up to cj187 stuff.

To clear up misunderstanding by you or anyone else, when I say Jetway I mean an airbridge, not an airline -one that could be triggered to move on a track and position against the parked aircraft door.

You really should not have asked me for requests for reskins !!! The following is to give you (and Rob and anyone else) a big choice on what you fancy doing, not a request for all of them ..... well, unless you want to ! I am leaving out Boeing 757, 777, 787, Airbus 340 and Embraer because as far as I know there are no models available to reskin. Would certainly appreciate any ideas you have on these when talking to Ian.

Airbus 319 standard British Airways colours / Brussels Airline / Croatia
Airbus 320 British Airways / Air Malta / Tyrolean
Airbus 321 Swiss International / Cyprus Airways / Aeroflot / Iberia / Air Portugal /Alitalia / Finnair / Scandinavian
Airbus 330 South African Airways / US Airways / TAM Brazil / Air Canada / Middle East Airlines / Air China / Virgin Atlantic / Oman Air / Gulf Air / Qatar / Etihad / Sri Lankan / Air China / China Southern
Boeing 737-800 Transaero / Air Algerie / Royal Air Maroc
Boeing 747 Virgin Atlantic /
Boeing 767-300 Ethiopian Airlines

Don't have a fit - I'm just giving you choices.....

Thanks for your response
Bob

Looks great! will park it up somewhere when it's finished (will the steps vehicles be available as well?)

Reading Rob's post, presume this model is too detailed to use as a train vehicle when moving a lot of other traffic as well.

Air New Zealand are ceasing their service via Hong Kong so this one will have been left at Heathrow and forgotten about!

How you see it is how you'll get it when its ready to be released.

I understand that Posky dissolved in 2011 but its still their model and I would still think you need permission before you can release it, not just say it was made by Posky for a totally different game.

Hi,

Those 2 new repaints should now be available at the DLS:

Airbus A319-131 with Iberia colors

Hi Pascal

Looks good but I'm a comparative newcomer to this hobby so that era doesn't have the same nostalgia for me. I have gained my interest from travelling in later life though I do remember a trip to Jersey years ago in an unusual plane - since assumed to have been an Aurigny BN Islander.

Keep up the good work - no doubt I'm in the minority on here with my more modern taste!

Hi

Thanks Bob. I try to answer queries for maps covering various eras. Also, I reproduce airplanes with which I travelled for business or hollydays trips.

It was the case for this 747-200 of Air India I took from Paris to Delhi.

I also took the opportunity of this model to update my CAAC and CP Air 747-200 with Vulcan's flashers.

More goodies Pascal !

The CP Air is before my time but I well remember the Air India 747's at Heathrow. Will be using this to cover Air India 777 schedule instead of a Swiss DC-10!

I've not downloaded this yet but from the picture I think you'll find it's actually a -300 series - stretched upper deck of the -400 but without the wingtips. (KLM used some) but I'm not complaining!

Looking forward to more!

Thanks
Bob

Oh dear, jumped the gun there didn't I ? When I read your post again, you didn't say you'd uploaded them - which might be why I can't download them !

Are you going to or are you just tantalising me with what might have been !!!

Also, when I think about it and for the sake of accuracy, KLM actually converted 747-200's to the -300 appearance but there were a nmuber of 747-300's produced before the 747-400 became standard.
