Beautiful alley, Dick. Jeez, who ever would have thought people would be praising an alley!!!! Haha! :)

Where is that from?

This model looks so realistic, because it attracts the force of gravity.

The street, the footpath, the kerb are embedded in the base board. In my routes all tracks, roads, fences and other spline objects are visibly "flying" above the ground, as they were made of ribbon. I just can't dig them in to the ground level, without manipulating each spline separately. It looks like TRAINZ cannot blend splines with the base board to give it a natural look.

How much time does it take to achieve such great effect?

Sorry, I thought I had the link in to the author's site. Unfortunately, this is the only item like this I have ever seen. As mentioned above, it is too good! All the other stuff with monochromatic their painting would look terrible. If you intend to view it from only one angle you might be able to position three different rotations side-by-side for a larger scene.

It is very unfortunate that this is the only example for Trainz. If others were produced I would pay money for them.

Their other buildings are nice too. I use their Haus-medium series along with the Haus Einfach for fancy houses that are up close.

I agree I wish there were more modules like this because of the quality and detail. It's all about the normal mapping, bump textures, and object textures.

It shows the capability of the content creator as well as the capabilities of the game engine.
